Best surgeon. Great personality. Made me feel very comfortable and worry free going into back surgery. The surgery was a complete success. I would recommend him to ANYONE in need of an orthopedic surgeon.

Very appreciative of his honesty. I was in a car accident and was seeing a plethora of doctors, some were very aggressive and wanted me to get surgery since day 1. Dr. Sun tried to his to avoid surgery, we tried a variety of things before we had to do surgery. Even my physical therapist told me, if Dr. Sun says you need surgery, then you really need surgery. While no one likes surgery, he did keep into consideration the aesthetic part, and I have a very minimal scar right now.

If I could give Dr. Sun a 10 star review, I would. But I just wanted to leave a review and let everyone know my experience with Dr. Sun. From the time that I found out I was going to need surgery, to say I was scared is an understatement. But Dr. Sun calmed my nerves and reassured me that everything was going to be ok. He wouldn’t be performing the surgery if it was not going to fix the problem, or at least lessen the pain. He was very upfront with me about the procedure and what the healing time would take. I sit here today with little to no pain, and highly recommend him to anyone that needs these surgeries. My husband has seen what I was like before the procedure and now after and has told me numerous times that he wants Dr. Sun to perform his surgeries if it comes down to that. Even after the procedure and the follow ups he is still upfront and honest with me about how I’m healing. 10/10 recommend Dr. Sun and will be going back to him for these types of procedures if I need them i

I’m glad that Dr. Sun was the surgeon who fixed my spine. After the surgery, the pain on the buttocks and tingling of both legs are all gone. I’m so happy now! Dr. Sun took time to discuss the treatment plan and gave clear instructions before and after the surgery. I knew I was in good hands. The incisions were dry since day one and I don’t need any pain medication after a week of the surgery. My recovery was much better and quicker than what my family and friends expected. I started from slow walking using a cane to normal walking (4 miles per day) within two weeks after surgery. I’m grateful for Dr. Sun’s professional care. Dr. Sun is a super spine surgeon!

Although I did not need Dr Sun’s surgical skills, I was so impressed with his two way communication, open conservative approach and his genuine concern for my condition that I immediately recommend him to 3 or 4 friends who have continuing spine problems. Then, last week, I received a follow up call from this doctor to make sure my condition was unchanged. He was genuinely interested and recalled the minute details of my case. It was very old school (and from a young doctor.). I told him that I hope to never have to see him again, but I felt confident knowing that he was there if I ever need him.

I have been going to Dr Sun for my back condition for three years now. My experience with him has always been excellent. He is very knowledgeable and transparent. He very patiently listens to all my concerns and questions and addresses them with utmost honesty. I trust his advice and would 100 percent recommend him. There is minimal wait in his office and the office staff is helpful.

Dr. Sun provided me with gentle and professional guidance during my recovery from a knee fracture. My questions were always answered patiently by Dr. Sun and I was given expert advice on how to speed up my recovery. Thank you Dr. Sun!

Dr.Sun is a godsend. He’s a very patient person who genuinely cares about his patients. He always takes the time to explain things to me in terms that I can understand and asks the right questions, takes his time and is honest . He’s diligent in making sure my health is the best it can be. The entire staff is wonderful. I would recommend Dr. Sun to anyone seeking a kind, compassionate, and brilliant doctor!

Visited Dr. Sun for a lower back pain. He took his time explaining the results of CT scan in detail but in terms a layman can understand. Then Dr. Sun outlined the options for treatment. He was very understanding of my other conditions and suggested a path that would take these into account. Finally, he indicated that I should cancel our next appointment if my back was responded to the treatment plan. Obviously putting the patient first.

Dr. Sun's assistant was very polite and professional. Dr. Sun was very attentive and made recommendations for physical therapy and alternative treatment which were less invasive during my first visit. I am confident I chose the right orthopaedic surgeon. I left the office already feeling better.

Dr. Li Sun did my lower back surgery for a herniated disk almost 2 years ago. He was very professional, kind, and quick. Left a tiny little scar that is barely noticeable. I’ve since recovered quickly and have not had problems again.

Dr. Sun is amazing! When I see him, it feels like he has all the time in the world to help me and answer all of my questions. I think he truly sees me as a human being. He's totally open and honest about the purpose of all the steps leading up to surgery, which helped me keep me feeling calm and taken care of during the whole process. He did a surgery to heal a pain issue I have had for my entire life. I'm completely healed - it's incredible. I had been in pain since I was 15 years old. Now I'm 42 and living a pain-free life. I'm a different person.

Dr. Sun first diagnosed me with spondylolisthesis in June 2021. Then later in 2021, after he left his practice, I received an MRI that said something different. I was furious by this and didn't understand why I had 2 different results. Today I received another opinion and I do indeed have spondylolisthesis. It was not shown in the MRI due to me lying down during the scan and the scan didn't pick it up due to my vertebrae or spine shifting back into place. I thought Dr. Lin didn't do his job at first and I was mistaken. I want to thank you Dr. Lin for everything you've done for me. I had to make sure everything was correct so I can move to the next stage in treatment. Happy to change the initial rating!

I had surgery in July this year. He explained the entire procedure very well during my office visits, including expectations, pre-admission, pre-surgery, and post surgery. He visited everyday during my hospital stay and called me when i was home already. Dr. Sun is a very caring surgeon. I would give him a 10 stars if I could.

I recommend dr.sun for any surgery or any procedure that needs to be done he truely has blessed hands and loves the work he does 10 out of 10!

He had great next steps in place- they took my X-ray to send notation when submitting the MRI request, it just wasn’t submitted. I didn’t have time to wait another 3 weeks for the appeal decision so I found a doctor who got the appeal approved in less than a week. The thought is there, the action just doesn’t follow.

Dr. Sun is an excellent physician who goes above and beyond to care for and communicate with his patients and their families. He is very competent and he effectively understands patients' concerns and stresses surrounding surgery. He is especially aware of cultural perceptions of medicine and does his best to treat patients holistically. I would definitely recommend Dr. Sun!
