Dr. Lianke Mu, MD

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Mu. From the moment I walked in, he was dismissive, condescending, and showed no concern for me as a patient. His bedside manner was nonexistent—he was rude, rushed through the appointment, and didn’t take the time to ask questions or allow me to ask any of my own. I felt completely unheard and disrespected. As a patient, I expect a doctor who listens, explains, and genuinely cares about my well-being, but that was not the case here. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and unheard. If you’re looking for an endocrinologist who values their patients and provides compassionate care, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The staff is horrible, I think the only person that was nice to me would have been the woman who did the blood work, besides the obvious communication issues, they didn't do squat. I had hundreds of different kinds of bloodwork done, and I mean hundreds. They told me all the issues they found within that blood work and then months later they did a test and then decided there was nothing wrong and nothing else they could do. (Also keep in mind, this happened near the deadline of my health insurance.) I didn't have anything prescribed, they didn't tell me what the problem was or the cause of the problem! Long story short, I managed to find out exactly what I had from a gyno!!! They take FOREVER for bloodwork even tho they have their "own lab" they still billed us through a separate lab. All for what? NOTHING. Do not go here if you want answers! They only want money and will waist your time.

Dr. Mu is fine but the front desk staff are a pain to deal with. Not friendly at all and NEVER answer the phone. I always have to leave a message and wait for someone to call back.

This doctor is horrible, first of all he doesn't deserve a star at all. My appointment was at 2:00pm but was not seen by Dr. Mu until 4:45pm I only went to get a hormonal test to determine my estrogen levels because I am going through menopause and my doctors are in another state. This doctor did not & would not listen to anything I had to say. I will travel back to my home state of Atlanta when in need of a real doctor. This doctor is rude nor can you understand much of what he is saying.

I wish I could give this doctor a negative rating. Condescending and dismissive of symptoms and lab work. His plan of care for my thyroid was to tell me to eat eggs. He refused to do a full panel thyroid screen and basically made it known that he was much smarter than me and that all my symptoms and elevated levels were in my head. I will NEVER step foot in this office again. I cannot believe he has a license to practice medicine.

He doesn't take the time to listen to your concerns. He always says that weight gain is do to food not a thyroid issue. You can't understand him when he speaks
