Rude, late, and doesn't value your time
Scheduled for 2:25 PM said to be there at 1:20 PM while I was told it should be done by 4:30 PM. Told when I was there it should be done by 5 PM. Was there until 5:45 PM. Prep was told to do it all the day before they then tell me it should have been done that day... I don't know if that was timing or because she runs so late.

She seemed very disinterested/condescending in discussing what could be causing my chronic digestive issues. She spent maybe 5 minutes with me. Very disappointing!

She acts like I'm faking even though I repeatedly show inflammation markers and max the results for wbc in stool. She keeps referring me to psychology, ignores my questions, has the MA or the Nurse do everything. Finally got her to do a scope and she admitted that the inflammation in my colon had actually doubled and that I had a stricture in my ileum but changed my diagnosis from Crohn's to "mild colitis and proctitis". She put me on an obscure medication now no other gi in my hmo will see me

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Perera?
No bedside manner. She only spent about 5-10 minutes with me and was very condescending. I spent about 20 minutes with the Nurse Practitioner (who was very helpful and easy to talk to) prior to meeting with the doctor. I have since found another doctor to work with and determined that Dr. Perera had misdiagnosed me.

Horrible bedside manner. I'm a nurse and I would never go back to her. Acts bothered if you have questions , mean to her staff. She is horrible
