Avoid if possible
Everything about this office gives me anxiety. I was referred to the high risk by my regular obgyn and I honestly don't know why Dr. Kaminsky would go into this profession. One would expect a level of empathy at the high risk obgyn, but this office lacks all compassion. Starting with the tech, who acts as if you are inconveniencing her for needing to be there for ultrasounds. We are first time parents and would have loved to know what was going on in the ultrasounds. Dr. Kaminsky is cold and ill-prepared. The office did not have test results that they ordered. It was all gloom and doom and nothing positive, and my husband insisted we not return. Avoid if possible.

My 3rd Pregnancy
I was referred to Doctor Kaminsky for my sonograms (I had no idea why). Originally, I was in the Newburgh office for my appointments, but the office was not warm once so ever and didn't make me feel comfortable. So, I went back to the office I started when I was 16 Warwick. I see my doctor and were chatting catching up and she ask me why I was sent to a high-risk doctor. I was shocked and said I don't know. I had an appointment with dr. Kaminsky coming up. So, when I went that question was on my mind why I was sent to you a high-risk doctor. She flat out told me it's because I'm OBESE.... excuse me what... She had no care I'm pregnant and she wasn't around the bush... "well it's because of ..." I'm a black athletic built woman I'm in the 200lbs right now after my 3rd kid. She broke me I left in tears because of how rude she was and to tell a pregnant woman this when she asked the question on why she was sent here clearly no one said I was obese or high risk. Do not go to her...

Terrible
Worst experience of my life. Rude and couldn’t wait to leave the room, barely answered any questions and told me that I don’t know anything about what meds I should or shouldn’t be taking. The tech was aggressive and rude as well. Never coming back

Horrid experience
Our experience with, Dr. Kaminsky, was terrible! She couldn't even be bothered to follow-up properly. Most of the time she wasn't even in the office thusly forcing us to communicate via teleconference. This was an impersonal method for communication, especially considering the fact that she was referred to us as a high risk specialist. We finally washed our hands of her after she ordered a test and hadn't a clue of the results at our next appointment nearly 2 weeks later! It was completely absurd of her to rely solely on my recounting at each and every folow up appointment . I felt like I was just another number.

She’s terrible. Very rude every time I went to her it’s a new thing that’s wrong with my baby. My baby looks healthy and has a strong heart beat. Going to get a second opinion.

Trust me, zero stars is still too many. This lady is rude, very short when it comes to answering any questions you may have, and horribly inconsiderate to any first time mother's that have complications or high-risk issues. My most recent ultrasound was my 31-week appt (and most likely last ultrasound before delivery) - I was hoping to ask a few questions about some of my complications as I move into the last 8 weeks. Too bad there was no conversation after the ultrasound because she went home at 3:45pm! She left during my appointment and I still haven't received a follow-up call. If the medical field isn't your passion anymore, move on. No one is forcing you to be an OB. She's terrible.

I just visited this doctor and she basically gave my unborn a death sentence. He/she is measuring small and “she’s not hopeful” as he/she may have a chromosomal abnormality. No bedside manner, very heartless. Our little one MAY have this horrible disease but be kind and be compassionate. I will never return to her. Disgusting! I wish I could give negative stars.

Dr. Kaminsky I’ve dealt with many times throughout my 4 pregnancies, each worse than the last. No bedside manner, she’s rude, she has zero concern for her patients- and when we decided not to abort our son as she suggested, based simply off her unconfirmed hunch our son could* have some lethal growth delay, so she shipped us off to Westchester. She’s never remotely close to being on time with appointments, she answers questions with vague answers, and isn’t good with communicating test results.

I don’t like leaving reviews like this but I honestly left to uneasy and sad... Doctor walked in friendly and gave me a hand shake by the end she barely answered any of my questions. Bad bed side manners which is important if you telling someone they are high risk. Full scan went well & she stated test look good but keeping me on high risk & stated I will stay since I don’t want to abort or amniocentesis. Need better bed side manners !

I am VERY disappointed in this High Risk MD, she has no bed side manner #1, she doesn't read your chart or even know who her Pt's are when she shows up for your appointment #2, she pushes unnecessary meds on Pt's with no rhyme or reason #3 and she is a joke! Such a disappointment that this kind of behavior is allowed at such a well known facility!

Everything with my pregnancy has been 100% completely smooth. Because I turned 35 halfway through, I got recommended by my regular Dr to test for Downs Syndrome. Her office told me it should only cost $200 for this test and I got a $3,700 bill in the mail from a lab in California. I had 5 sonograms which I feel were completely unnecessary. I feel like she just had me keep coming back to rake in the money. I now owe Crystal Run over $1000 in Kaminsky bills alone. I think she's all about the money

She didn't even know I was high risk patient when I saw her-obviously didn't look at my records before seeing me. I was supposed to get weekly shots at 16 weeks and no one made sure that happened, despite me calling and telling them I needed them by such a date. One time they told me to come in as soon as possible and not to wait (due to results of an U/S) but still had me wait in waiting room for 1HR. When discussing my situation, she gave me no guidance & could not answer my questions.

This doctor is horrible. Dealing with her is like dealing with an insensitive hack. She barely speaks to you and is unable to answer any questions. She calls herself a high risk OB/GYN. After seeing her today I really feel that I am high risk after the stress she put me through. Keep away from her and find yourself a real doctor.

I dislike coming to this doctor. I'm always on time or before time for all my appointments but still have to wait at least 45 minutes before I get called. When she finally comes to see me, she would spend less than 1 minute and leave. She doesn't explain anything and always in a rush. I had questions and concerns hich I brought up to her and all she could advice is everything is fine. My pregnancy is high risk so why would everything be fine? I'm ready to switch to a different specialist!

This time it's been stressful & un enjoyable pregnancy! Very unprofessional doctor!!!! Very test happy & seems to judge before letting you ask your questions! Your a number to her not a person---
