Dr. Lily Delatte, MD

I began seeing Dr. DeLatte right as Covid hit & getting medical appts were difficult to get. She has been one of THE BEST physicians I have ever seen. She truly listens and hears what you are saying. She works WITH YOU to come up with solutions & is an actual partner in your care. She is very bright & does research even after your appoint to help solve issues. She doesn’t stop thinking about her patients when she leaves the room. She is genuinely compassionate & wants the best for you. Dr. DeLatte is kind, respectful, has an attention to detail, incredibly smart, professional attitude, ALWAYS on time but ensures she NEVER rushes you. You are a person to her & not just another patient to be seen. She goes above and beyond for you. She truly is an amazing doctor!Any negative comment I have seen is absolutely just not true. After four years of seeing her regularly, she has never behaved in a manner a few others described. I would & have recommended her without reservation

The level of care has greatly decreased. Issues that I bring up at every appointment are met with "Oh, that's awful" instead of "here is a referral to an ENT". I'm given insufficient amounts of medications and then asked why I'm not compliant with my medications. They deny pharmacy requests for new prescriptions despite sending in insufficient prescriptions to begin with. The lack of care is frustrating to say the least.

On a Friday morning, I was experiencing stomach pains. I called and was told they couldn’t see me for over a week. Friday afternoon, I called again and asked if I could speak to someone and have them send me for a scan. I was told if I was in pain go to urgent care, which I did. The doctor at urgent care sent me directly to ER to get a scan because by that time the imaging locations were closing. I have a history of diverticulitis so I was pretty sure that was what was going on this time. After 71/2 hours in ER, I was sent home with antibiotics. Monday morning I called to see if they would send a prescription for anti nausea. I was told they wouldn’t issue a prescription until I came in for an appointment and they wouldn’t do that until the following week, at which time I would be finished with the antibiotics. I have been on these antibiotics before and they upset my stomach but are necessary. They have prescribed the anti nausea meds in the past to help with the nausea.

Dr. Delatte is the perfect doctor for me. My cholesterol was 264 and she was leaning toward starting a stating. I advised her of my views on not wanting to take any more medication if possible, she listened to me and took my desire into consideration. She started me on Red Yeast Rice, gave dietary recommendations, and now my cholesterol is 216. She's young, smart, and committed to her craft. I'm so happy I found her.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Lily Delatte and when I went to see the doctor, I was told by the front office that I have to see the Physician Assistant. Front office said that the new patient has to be seen by the Physician Assistant first. They didn't inform me about this when I was scheduling. Very bad front office dealing and not happy with.

I had a great experience with Dr. Delatte and the office staff. Dr. Delatte was knowledgeable and professional and listened to my thoughts and perspectives. The office staff was efficient and I was in and out in no time. I would definitely recommend DR. Delatte.

I have been looking for a good and compassionate doctor for years. I was highly recommend to Dr. Delatte by a family member and I am happy to now be her patient. She's a wonderful caring Dr who listens to patients needs.Will be bringing all my family to her! Thanks Dr Delatte!

I have been seeing Dr. Delatte since she joined Ocotillo Internal Medicine. Everytime I have been in to see her; from a full physical to follow-ups to coughs and colds; I have always had a great experience with Dr.Delatte. She is always, prompt, thorough, and listens to what I have to say. She is communicative and has aggressively treated any illness or complaint. I would highly recommend a visit to Dr. Delatte.

I love going to Ocotillo Internal Medicine. I have always received the best care from the whole staff. Everyone is always pleasant and ready to help. I am so happy to have found Dr. Dellate. She is always trying to find the best solution for me on an individual basis. She listens to my needs & concerns & handles the issues very appropriately. She even does research on her own time as to what would be the best treatment for my problem. Her bedside manner is always calm and pleasant.

Dr. Delatte is a professional and caring Doctor and most times that is hard to find. She takes her time and listens to my problems and concerns. I appreciate her aggressive approach to things, when I go to the Dr. I go for answers and results & that's what she gives me. She has even called after an office visit to see how I am feeling. I recently changed insurance providers and OIM does not accept my insurance but I continue to see her even though I must pay out of pocket prices. It's worth it!

Where'd this woman go to Medical School? She was rotten from the moment she stepped into the room. My medical needs and concerns were not addressed yet I was billed for a new pt visit AND an annual physical. Steer clear if you prefer a provider who listens and shows you she's interested in your health.
