Lack of attention and rough with the Patient
I have been going to Bascom Palmer since 2017 and i have had a pleasant experience overall. But during my visit on February 26, 2024, i was seen by Dr. Zhang, and she was really rough with me, and she didn't even look at me when she was addressing me. She had me put my chin on the equipment use to check eye without cleaning it or placing a napkin on it, which is normally done. According to my daughter who came with me, she was emailing while asking me to read the letters on the board, no attention at all. But when she was done, she went to get Dr. Yoo, who is my regular cornea doctor for her opinion. The minute Dr. Yoo stepped inside that room, Dr. Zhang demeanor sadly changed, she even smiled and started to talk nicely. I didn't feel like she showed and care or attention to my situation, and that is hurtful. This is my first time to write anything negative about anybody at Bascom Palmer.
