Dr. Lina Felipez, MD

I had a visit last week with Dr. Felipez at her Miami beach location. my experience was fantastic!! I waited less than 10 mins to be roomed. Dr Felipez spent her time with us and was very detailed. Her staff is also great. I have to say her office coordinator or assistant Cindy is just great!! she always helps me out with my needs and she's so efficient with her getting back to my requests. I don't like close to Alton Road but the drive is defiantly worth it! thank you Dr Felipez!!

While we can’t blame the doctor for the front desk staff, Dr Felipez on the other hand is very sweet and helpful. I took my son for a second opinion after putting my son through so much testing with other doctors and they weren’t able to find the cause. The doctor immediately knew what was going on, followed by some tests she was able to help us! The only doctor that has helped us has been Dr Felipez. I recommend her 100%! I am very picky with my kids and she has been phenomenal since day 1 !!

I took my 7 year old son in to see Dr. Felipez at her Nicklaus Children'sPediatric Specialists campus in Miami and it was truly an amazing experience. The parking is not great but valet is free! The staff were friendly, efficient and engaging. Dr. Felipez was super nice and caring and had great bedside manner. She spoke directly to my son and listened to his concerns and clearly explained the plan to myself and him. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. Thank you!

We took our daughter to see Dr. Felipez. After a good initial consultation we had a plan outlined and were sent for bloodwork that day and a virtual follow up meeting was set. The virtual call was delayed by the Dr. and when it finally happened we were told we needed to redo bloodwork as they did not test for everything needed. After the 2nd round of bloodwork, we never had a follow up from the Doctor. 8+ calls to the office, and Dr Felipez never returned the call. Poor to non-existent follow up, no communication and we now need to seek another GI as we have no result, diagnosis or plan to help treat her issues. A very disappointing experience.

The office staff is terrible, and the doctor does not take ownership of the patients wellbeing. My two month old was losing weight due to reflux, so she prescribed Nexium and my insurance required a preauthorization. The office was totally incompetent in getting me the preauthorization and would not answer their phones. After days and days of calling, leaving messages that were unanswered, and coming into the office in person multiple times trying to get a preauthorization, I spoke to the doctor who said that my insurance just wouldn’t cover the medication. This was not even true, and when I changed doctors I was able to get the preauthorization in a day. Going to Dr. Felipez resulted in my 2 month old not getting care and losing even more weight than he had to.

Dr. Felipez is amazing! She truly cares about the whole child. The office staff and her nurse are wonderful. What a blessing she is to my child who has EOE, a chronic condition she will need to be scoped and treated for for the rest of her life. We are in good hands with Dr. Felipez and its well worth the drive.
