She doesn't care at ALL!! Don't loose your time!
Worst dermatologist ever!!! She was in a real hurry, barely listened about my skin problems and concerns. She only focused on repeating 3 things (use sunscreen, use a hat and come back in one year). Barely check my body skin for lumps, and my hands with the problem. No interest at all in answering questions, All in a super hurry. Never mentioned to me that she prescribed a new ointment for me to use. 2 weeks later I received from my Insurance a Notice of Approval for a new medication requested by her. I google the prescription and realized is big on dangerous side effects. She never ever discussed with me that option. BTW, I waited 3 months for her appointment!! Don't loose your time or money going to her!

Cancels Appointments
She canceled a total 3 appointments on me in 2023 and 2024. These appointments were scheduled 6 months in advance and were cancelled shortly before each appointment. I have chosen another dermatologist.

Confidence in you doctor is high priority
Being a doctor can be chaotic and disorienting, and how well a physician handles that is a measure of her true worth. Dr. Barrows is skilled, competent, and confident, without being arrogant. I came to her by way of a referral from a skin-cancer surgeon. I requested the referral because my previous dermatologist had missed a very obvious basal cell cancer on my ear, which the surgeon noticed in a pre-surgery exam concerning yet another cancer. So I specifically requested a referral to someone who knows how to manage my healthcare as well as her office. It has been a terrific relief to be in Dr. Barrow's care. I sleep well at night now.

She's good!
I find Dr. Barrows to be kind, thoughtful and responsive to all my concerns. She is not alarmist like my past dermatologist and I'm very happy with her.

Taking my health elsewhere
Dr. Barrows was recommended to me after my previous dermatologist (whom I LOVED) stopped taking my insurance. Oh, how I wish I could go back to my old provider. Dr. Barrows is short and dismissive, and she didn’t listen to my wishes regarding moving forward with treatment. More interested in prescribing a quick fix than really getting to the root of the problem. Her assistants were also cold and made the experience uncomfortable. I left the appointment feeling discouraged and unheard. At first I thought I was crazy for feeling this way, but I’m relieved to see that I’m not the only patient who has had this experience.

Don’t waste your time with this dermatologist.
What a horrible experience with this provider. Dr. Barrow’s is unhelpful, cold and seemed totally disinterested in hearing my issues and addressing them. She chalked up all my concerns to “It’s the aging process.” I know that, that’s why I was referred to her by my PCP! What a complete waste of time, effort and money. Do yourself a favor and find a dermatologist who is kind, caring and has a desire to help. She has zero of those qualities.

Dr Linda was very unprofessional and treated me as if I didnt know what has been done to my skin before (ie she said there is no way I could have had a Dr use liquid nitrogen to freeze off a mole...I know what has been done to my skin and yes its true) She acted as if I wasnt worth her time her time. DO NOT GO TO HER

I switched dermatology practices due to insurance issues after seeing Dr. Barrows 5 times. My new dermatologist immediately found a large spot on my head which neccessitated specialized MOHS surgery. I now have a huge dent in my head and a bald spot. I would not recommend Dr. Barrows to anyone.

Dr. Barrows is informative and genuine in dealing with me. Her staff are friendly and everyone was willing to answer any questions. Dr. Barrows was open to my concerns and listened to what I had to say. Couldn't have asked for a better visit. People who do not understand what is being said by their doctor just need to ask.
