Dr. Linda Heflin, MD

My mom recently moved to the area, and I made an appointment with Dr. Heflin months ago. I first called to make sure she was accepting new patients. I was told yes, but that it would be 3 months out for a new patient. (That’s a 6 mo, wait from when I 1st called) After waiting those three months, we got a call 10 days before my moms appointment saying Dr. Heflin needed to review my moms records to see if she could see her, and even if she could, the appointment would need to be pushed back until April. Extremely disappointing. What happened to the appointment we had waited for 3 months? Did they just give it to someone else? Why could this information not be relayed to us before now? My mom is almost out of her medicines now, and we have to start all over with looking for another dr. Very unprofessional.

If you have Medicare and supplemental insurance, don’t bother calling this office. She has a “limited “ number of patients that she sees that have Medicare as their primary insurance. Very unethical, but within the limits of the law.

Relocated to area and needed to establish primary Dr. I found Dr Heflin in the list my insurance provided to me.
