Dr. Linda Pouzar, MD

Dr Linda Pouzar always devotes plenty of time for my annual visit. She is thorough in following my regular issues and testing for new things that pop up. Dr Linda is happy to repeat explanations and help me understand my health issues. She is very responsive on the app. It is great for follow-up communication after lab tests and imaging, change in medication, sharing info I received from a specialist or Urgent Clinic, etc. Years ago she recommended a medication, and I gave her reasons I didn't want to start it. She looked closer at the lab numbers and agreed that I could wait. With a recent incident, she insisted it is now time for me to start that medication. I appreciated her flexibility and the fact that she had a point where that changed. I do have to schedule my appointment well in advance because Dr. Linda is a popular Primary Care Physician.

I’ve seen Dr. Linda many times but it was my mother who was her long time pt. My Mom had cervical cancer 20 yrs ago with a lot of damaging radiation. 7 yrs ago Mom complained of bladder issue which was dismissed by Dr. as a bladder infection, for about a year of continual complaint by Mom. Turns out, upon seeing different dr. She had stage 4 bladder cancer. It took me 5 minutes online to find that my mom was high risk for this issue but due to Dr. P’s ridiculously crammed back-to-back pts. Scheduled, she didn’t take the time to “think” or “recheck” my moms chart even though I know she was familiar with moms history but it’s all there in the chart if not! If I can find a diagnosis for my mom in 5 mins online, she should have been able to as well with all her medical training! Now my mom has no bladder! Thank God for more competent doctors as my mom is still alive but with a significant decrease in her quality of life. This dr. Must see 700 pts. Daily so if you have a cold, she MIGHT wrk

Unprofessional, inconsiderate & disrespectful. Appointment was scheduled for 10AM. Linda did not enter the exam room until 11:44AM; no apology for her tardiness. When asked about the long wait, she blamed it on her patients for not scheduling appointments frequently enough. Stuff doesn't respond in a timely manner for refill or referral requests. Will not return.

"Doctor Linda" Pouzar is a family practitioner at Clear Lake Medical Group providing outstanding care for people of all ages and at all stages of life. I drive 60 miles one way to see Dr. Linda and it is definitely worth the trip. I would have no other Primary Care Physician (PCP). She is also my wife's PCP, my parents' PCP, and my children's PCP. She is very experienced, exceptionally bright, and very thorough. She has a great bed-side manner and explains everything to me using language I can understand. She is caring, personal, and respectful. She gives me the time I need and I don't ever feel rushed. My recent visit this month went as all others have. We talked about the preliminary blood work using their online portal, the wait was short at the office, the visit was exceptional, and she followed-up using the portal. I would highly recommend her to anyone of any age.

I never met this doctor because her patients were backed up and I had a 10:00 am appointment! Glad some have had a decent experience as I never got in and had to leave. No excuse for this. She needs to schedule fewer patients! My wait time was two hours!

I love Dr. Linda Pouzar! She's a rare find. She takes her time with each patient. She's focused and caring. Dr. L Pouzar listens, asks questions non-judgementally, and explores to get to the bottom of things. She's not only interested in taking care of the symptoms, but of the root of things. I would give her more stars if there were more! She now treats three members of our family! That's how good she is!

Not a good experience

Very thorough and a great communicator

Dr Pouzar is fabulous caring and compassionate the only draw back is the hateful blonde lady at the front desk who just humiliated an elderly couple. Karma to you lady that was so embarrassing to watch elderly people dehumanized!

Dr Pouzar is very meticulous. She takes her time and obtains your complete history. Just remember she does a complete history for everyone so it causes delays the later in the day it becomes. You can choose a doctor who rushes you through like cattle call or one who is thorough when making a diagnosis.
