Initial appointment was very good. He was in time and there was no wait. Seems very thorough and knowledgeable. Was able to address my situation with ease and familiarity. Hopefully all future appointments go as well as the new patient. I’m happy he was able to take me on as a new patient. I would recommend him.

This man is worthless. He told my bipolar husband to go off meds without a plan and basically left him for dead. He constantly makes him wait for hours, but the icing on the cake is that he literally ghosted him for an appointment during this episode he directly caused. Do not go to him.

Horrible. Was on call for someone and he shouted at me over the phone. Shows how unstable and inept he really is.

I am delighted to see the 1 star ratings because I now know I am not alone in my struggles. Large caseloads should not give Dr. Schild free rein to treat his patients with an utter lack of empathy and compassion, ESPECIALLY during a pandemic.

Dr Schild not only helped me through some of my most difficult times n continues to. He has made me feel like family. There is not one thing I can’t be afraid walking up in his office and tell him . I trust his certainly long n accomplished expertise in his field of this career. Yes the wait may be long but just think , it’s because he is that good n takes as many patients as possible he is only one man. Get in elsewhere all to hear the exact thing u were wanting a second opinion on.

I have been bringing my mother, who lives an hour away here for months. each visit, we walk in to find the appt time is delayed 1 hour. we check in every hour for 2-3 hours AFTER her appt time. 4 hours for a 10 min appointment is insane. Then he won't even call her prescriptions in for 2-3 days. wtf

If you don't mind waiting for 2-3 hours for your scheduled appointment you'll be fine here. It's quite exhausting and such a shame to have to wait so long because he really is a good psychiatrist. At least there are good movies playing in the waiting area.

He was the first and only doctor to really listen to me and work with me. I have that fact that everyone puts him down. He has a huge case load ND doesn't deserve to be talked about like this. I enjoy his company and his stories. He makes me feel comfortable enough to tell hm the truth about stuff so if you don't like the way he runs things go to another doctor. He in my eyes is a great guy and hasn't let me down yet!

I find it absolutely ridiculous that I have to wait over an hour for my scheduled appointments!!! Even when I am scheduled as “ the first appointment” of the day I have waited 45 min to over an hour!! And when I finally do get in his office he is more inclined to talk about himself. I think it’s time to find a new doctor!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Schild for more than 20 years. He is a well-educated, well-informed, highly knowledgeable clinician. He runs his own practice and works harder than any 3 drs combined! Be prepared to have some patience in his waiting room, as he does run behind often. His care is worth the wait. Thank you to his staff for always helping me, they have A LOT to deal with and always handle it with professionalism.

The office is poorly run at best. Waiting for his arrival is quite the experience. Must be nice to run a business with such little consideration for the people waiting.

Dr. Schilds really cares about his patients. He has good knowledge on what meds go with what diagnose and he doesn't over prescribed. He takes the time to ask u several questions about certain things, tries to determine his diagnose, regardless what you've been diagnosed before.

Every appointment I go to, I end up seeing him at least 2 hours after my scheduled time. He talks more about himself than about his patients and honestly is no help whatsoever to my mental health outside of writing prescriptions without knowing anything about my symptoms. He is simply a drug vending machine and nothing more.

Dr. Schild misdiagnosed my son, put him on higher and higher doses of medication which not only exacerbated his illness but caused him to gain a lot of weight. Dr. Schild thinks very highly of himself and will tell you how wonderful he is. Just don't.
