Dr. Lindsey Merritt, DO

Dr. Merritt is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered. She saved my father from a difficult situation. I am very grateful to her for her work. I will recommend everyone contact her.

I saw her on two seperate occasions while admitted to the hospital. The second time she had no record of seeing me previously. I had a cspsule endoscopy and had to call repeatedley for the results. When I did finally get them, the images were jet black and undecernable. She gave me a follow-up visit by phone for two months afterwards.

Dr. Merritt performed gastric revision surgery at St. Vincent's Ascension. The care from Dr. Merritt staff, the hospital staff, and the doctor was superb! I have many medical issues, which caused minor complications. The staff was professional attentive, caring, and kind. We got through the procedure. I have not had one issue. Not even pain. Zero pain, I was astonished. It was all performed through my esophagus so there was no incisions anywhere, just a few internal stitches. I would high recommend Dr. Merritt!

I will be having an upcoming procedure with Dr. Merritt on March 28th. She is not only kind, and knowledgeable, but she also has a GREAT bed-side manner and if thats not enough Dr. Merritt answers all my silly & not so silly questions with a smile. I feel so CONFIDENT knowing she is performing my surgery. Her assistant Amanda is also excellent, she really knows her stuff!! She is always checking in on me & letting me know everything I need to know! Anytime I have a question Amanda is sure to call me back the same day, and that means alot to me, as I am a girl who worries all the time!!.. I could not ask for a better team working on my case.. I love & I am so excited to know that Dr. Merritt & her team are giving me a second chance in life, and for me to live a life I deserve..

If you just need a colonoscopy, then Dr. Merritt is fine. If you need more comprehensive care or investigative diagnosis - look elsewhere!

I can't begin to tell you the lack of care of this office .. it truly is beyond what one would imagine .. I will never allow her to be my doctor again .

I recently saw Dr. Merritt to set up my very first colonoscopy. I was so nervous! I heard how tough the prep was from several people so I certainly was not looking forward to the appointment, at all. Then walks in Dr. Merritt with a great smile, calming voice and wonderful bedside manner. She discussed preparation alternatives, answered all my questions and completely set my mind at ease. In addition to talking about the colonoscopy, she discussed basic fitness & nutritional changes I could make to improve my overall health. A great first appointment! The day of my procedure Dr. Merritt checked on me before it was time to proceed, asked if I had any final questions, went over the game plan, assured me I wasn't going to feel any pain and finally told me not to worry, she was going to take good care of me. She took GREAT care of me! All those worries were for nothing! The procedure went smoothly, no pain as she said!! Dr. Merritt is a GREAT physician. I HIGHLY recommend her!
