Amazing with our teen!
Telehealth
Dr. Arkin is amazingly compassionate with teens experiencing self-confidence issues associated with acne. She has strong expertise in her field (after our PCP had our son on a med for a dangerous amount of time). She gave us options for medications and also administration routines recognizing teens need a routine they will actually follow. She has made herself available for evening and weekend contacts to address how to use pretty heavy meds for a severe, hard-to-manage condition. She's a parent herself. Could not recommend her more strongly.

Ignored MyChart messages detailing an infection
Her staff minimized two MyChart messages detailing an infection at the site of a biopsy. They did so twice. When I did go into the office to have the sutures removed they were alarmed at the infection and took a culture. It was, in fact, a staph infection. They prescribed my with doxycycline. After eight days into a ten day regimen, I had to be transported to the ER via ambulance due to a severe allergic reaction. That trip to the ER also cost me $500.
