Cold and lacking empathy
I had been a patient of Dr. Bowling’s for years. She used to be phenomenal. I even followed her to Summit after she moved there from UT. I came to Dr. Bowling with a serious health concern. When I asked her what she thought it was she stated, “ I don’t know” and continued typing on her computer making no eye contact with me. Her ignorant nurse (who technically isn’t a real nurse) also made a comment that gave me extreme anxiety, but offered no help. Dr. Bowling was very cold and lacking empathy. The only time she spoke to me was when I was leaving she asked me “how is married life?”and seemed agitated when I said it was wonderful. I thought this was an odd comment for her to make, especially since she barely spoke to me during my appointment. Perhaps she is having personal problems, but her quality of care has declined significantly Fortunately, I was able to find a physician that ordered testing and was able to solve my problem. Dr. Bowling put my physical and mental state in jeopardy

She has a Heart of Stone
She will pretend to care and then stab you in the back talking trash about you. This woman should NEVER have become a doctor. She is souless. A doctor is suppose to top care about the patient FIRST. Only one person this one cares about is HERSELF! Don't expect her to go out of her way for you. If Summit did house calls to patients NOT HER! Don't waste your time with her find another doctor.

Dr Bowling has been my doctor for several years now and I could not ask for a better doctor. She always listens and never dismisses what you say like some doctors do. She is very good about explaining procedures and being very considerate about if a medical procedure could trigger people with trauma. She puts everything in language that is easy to understand and she doesn't discriminate against LGBT patients. She is a wonderful doctor that truly cares about her patients.

Spends time with her patients, getting to know them and build rapport. Very knowledgeable and it's obvious she really cares. So refreshing in this day of assembly line medicine.
