Dr. Lisa Buell, MD

I generally see one of Dr. Buell's PA's when I go to her office, but I am comforted to know that Dr. Buell is only a few steps away if one of her PA's suspects something serious and wants to engage her for a second opinion. While her PA's are generally on time, Dr. Buell does often run late on her appointments, but once she starts seeing you she will spend all the time necessary to make sure you are getting the very best care. I would recommend Dr. Buell and her team to anyone looking for a new primary care physician.

Sadly the office is not run efficiently. The administration side her practice once was accurate and timely to needs…not any longer. Very sad to see!

Dr Buell is always there to help her patients. She is very knowledgeable and up to date on medical conditions. She will take time to listen and help. The Best!

Have been coming to Dr Buell for decades and would not ever go elsewhere. She does indeed take the appropriate time to get to know the problem and never gives a blow-off type of response. She has treated me and my husband for many things over the years and always gets it right or gets us to an appropriate specialist. That’s what I need a doctor for!

The issue with Dr. Buell's office is once you leave and need to call back and speak with the nurse. Nine times out of 10, the phone is answered with "Dr. Buell's office, can I put you on a brief hold" where you are then waiting for them to remember you are on the line. When someone picks back up, they don't remember who you were waiting for. It would be much simpler if they would put you straight through to the voicemail that you need. Not everyone is calling for an appointment, but even if you were - it is okay to let others wait while they take care of your issue. Either that, or they need a new phone system or more staff. The issue is ongoing and constant.

Dr. Buell is my primary Doctor her staff is great i have been going to her for 3 years now and haven't had any problems. Her Staff is awesome and they don't forget who you are they know by name. And i have been healthy since i have been going there.

I have seen Dr Buell for YEARS. I absolutely love her and both of her NP's. Dr. Buell truly listens to her patients and genuinely cares about them. She does not rush, which I appreciate. I would highly recommend Dr. Buell to anyone looking for a new PCP. She is the ONLY PCP I will see.

Dr. Buell cares about her patients. She gives quality time and does not rush. She listens intently and has a great sense of humor. If you are in Fort Worth and need a good doctor look no further. Great staff and PAs too!

I’ve been a patient here since I was a child and care has gone downhill drastically. I genuinely don’t remember what Dr. Buell looks like anymore and her NP didn’t do squat yet besides insinuate that I shouldn’t be Ill because I’m young.

During the four years I saw her, Dr. Buell allowed me to ask all my questions on every visit, while some doctors have told me to schedule another appointment if I have more than one or two issues to address. She did not charge me $95 extra for one question during my annual physical which another doctor did (after giving a vague three-minute answer). Some people might find her personality a little abrasive, but I think she's a good match for assertive patients who ask questions and follow specific advice from doctors. I wish she practiced now in the city to which I moved when I left Fort Worth.

Only met Dr. Buell once. She was very talkative and fear mongering. I saw her NPs several times. They and the rest of the staff are incompetent. The staff can also be incredibly rude.

If you want to call about your mental health and be told ‘yeah, you need more help than I can give you’ not in a nice way, in a rude condescending way, this is your doctor. If you want to be made to feel shamed by her staff and then for her to call you and take no credit and tell me that’s all on me? Hell no. Customer service is still a thing and just because you are ‘saying what people don’t want to hear’ doesn’t mean it has to be tactless and heartless. Thanks but no thanks.

They have very very very very rude staff ......, especially the assistant nurse, she has serious problems, authority problems. She raised her voice with a bad attitude, and worst of all in front of my minor children. Without letting go that the whole problem was because I did not let myself take my vital signs, obviously, they refused to offer me the consultation. I told the assistant, that she need to give me the results and she without thinking, she looked at me and said "Very well" And she close the door in my face and as if that were not enough, when I got to the receptionist and asked for my copy of the results that by the way, my medical insurance had already paid. She just without word, she said that had not received yet .... Where are we going to get! the manipulation in the offices to exploit the patient's medical plans. Incredible, people who must be sensitive to others. any way given one single start because love Monica the Nurse. Left with lab results at least.

I've been with Dr. Buell for over 20 years and I was diagnosed in 2016 with Breast Cancer. I never go to see Dr. Buell always a Nurse Practitioner unless I wanted to wait 3 weeks. The last time I went in they told me I had a balance and I asked why? They said I wasn't in network so for 4 years I wasn't in network and they didn't tell me anything until now? That's just not good business. I miss them sometimes but I don't know that I can trust them anymore.

They have always treated me well. Very confidential and all the staff is very nice. I highly recommend them for their knowledge of what one might be ill of and professionalism. 5 star all across!

I’ve been a patient of this practice for over 15 years. I don’t have health insurance at the moment and they refused to refill my prescription I’ve been getting there for over 15 years because I haven’t been there in over a year. The reason I cannot go to an appointment is because I’m out of work and I can’t afford the $150 min appointment cost. They would not work with me on payments. I’m going to be in a very bad situation without this medication and no hope to get it anytime soon because they refused me. Let me say that this medication is not a narcotic. It is for restless leg syndrome it means the difference between functioning and not functioning for me. I begged them and they said no. What is the point of being a patient for 15 years these people know me and you still refuse me because what they need to collect the fee? Absolutely disgusting

She is nice, but talks really fast, always seems rushed, alwyas running behind,and talks about other issues besides your health. You have to call to get your own lab test results, and they are always behind.

They have very very rude staff !!!! They don't respect people at all...!!! I called to make appointment for me , my wife and my daughter. That's mean am paying for three people but they put me on hold for long time then they hang up ! It happened two times in deffrent days and one time she pretended not hear me after long hold the she hanged up!am going to another clinic there are a thousand of them
