Dr. Lisa Grant-McDonald, DPM

I was assigned to Dr. Lisa in the hospital for a broken ankle. She spent a lot of time with me pre-op and post-op. Sh is great at talking to patients at their level and explains the treatment protocol clearly. My ankle is healing faster than expected. I don't understand the negative reviews about the office staff. They have been very polite and helpful, especially Belle, who needed to complete lots of insurance forms for me.

The office staff is rude and unfriendly. The doctor does care about the patients concern. They do not care about what your insurance covers. Even if you know your insurance after 38 years. Sad part the rooms were dirty. The so called staff who cleaned the wounds put you through pain. I had the pleasure of getting gangrene from this place. Luckily my pcm caught it and treated me and refused their referrals that were not necessary. I am lucky to have an amazing pcm. This place is a joke. The office staff likes to talk to the patients like they do not matter and are stupid. So wrong. Sad part I have permanent damage because of this place. Stay away. Your sanity and life is not worth going here. Again the office staff are horrible condescending mean people.

I was barely walking when I first came to Dr Lisa's office. After an MRI turns out my foot was in pretty bad shape. Surgery was scheduled and after the recovery time I was back up and moving great.

Dr. Grant-McDonald has a good bedside manner. The office staff lacks etiquette. They never own up to being wrong. Surgery scheduling was a nightmare. I was scheduled for 5am for surgery. I had to be there 2 hrs early and I live an 1 hr away. I had to leave home by 2 am. Hospital staff told me I had to wait until 7. The staff never admitted their mistake. I was scheduled the wrong time. As for the doctor’s work, I am not happy with the appearance of my toes or the end result of my procedure. I would not recommend her.

Waited one hour and half to see doctor when I had an appt. Doctor told me I needed foot surgery that would take 4 to 6 weeks recovery time. Did research and a modern technique takes from one week to three weeks to recover. Found out doctor certified to do this type of surgery also. Called to have doctor call me to explain why I was not getting new technique. Never got call back. Went to another doctor. Should b reported to AMA
