Dr. Lisa Guyot, MD

I knew, she would be the only person I want to help me with my back surgery. Very very very informative, showed me every x ray, every mri and went over it with me in detail. I've never had another dr do that with me. I've already referred my daughter and a good friend to her.

Dr. Lisa Guyot took the time to not only tell me what she was going to do but also showed me with the models of the lumbar spine. Looking forward to the outpatient surgery which she said would only be 1hr.

Very personable, took her time to explain the process, I didn’t feel rushed. Very concerned about how I feel. The PA Melissa was very good as well.

Not only did I trust Dr Lisa Guyot with both of my mom‘s brain surgeries, she did my neck surgery in 2015 and I have had no problems since and she just did my lower back without a problem. She’s amazing and very professional. She’s very caring and understanding to your wants and needs. She’s a great listener! She goes above and beyond.

Dr. Guyot has got to be one of the most dishonest and least empathetic people I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. Firstly on the day of my laminectomy every nurse, the anesthesiologist, and even Dr.Guyot warned me of the heartburn from having a tube in my throat...(more on that later) out of the two herniated discs i had Dr.guyot only worked on and removed the most recent injury, refusing to help with a problem that has caused back pain for literal years now... her reason, that if its still bugging me (the way it was for years) after she took the unrelated hunk from another disk she could just do another surgery later (for the $$$$$$).... Dr.guyot also let me know if I needed pain med refill don't hesitate to ask and on top of all of that she was going to prescribe physical therapy... being off work I didn't feel super bad so it took a whole 2 months for me to get through the pain meds and that was a mistake, since I only used them when I needed them and not 3 times a day clearly I NEVER need them. I was also made to look like an idiot when the younger trainee she had come sit in on my follow up started mocking me for thinking that tube would cause heartburn as according to him that's just impossible... and lastly have asked for information on going to a physical therapist a good 4-5 times now and wouldnt you know it, she is always out of office and will get back with me the next day for sure.... but like everything else is a lie in the moment because I never get a call back or hear anything... my advice avoid this whole hospital

Wonderful Dr. She fixed my C6/C7 she is very nice and explained procedure thoroughly. She treats your pain after surgery very well, she doesn’t leave you waiting. Highly recommend! A+++

I had been experiencing back and sciatic issues, had seen many doctors who would take tests, then refer me to another doctor for more tests. I ultimately landed on Physical therapy which didn't resolve the issue. I had multiple spinal epidural injections which didn't resolve either. I got in to see the Dr. Guyot. The initial consult was fantastic, I met with the PA for 1/2 hour for an exam, then the dr for 1/2 who when through results of my MRI. Explained every detail, offered options and offered to help. After 8 months of running in circles I finally knew what was going on and options to fix. She and her staff are very friendly and take time for their patients. A month later I had spinal fusion surgery, as well as laminectomies, foraminotomy, etc. The surgery was extensive, she visited in hospital and followed up. Im still in recovery, and things are 100% better already. I still have more recovery in store. I'd recommend her to anyone with back/spine issues. Thank You!!!

She is thoughtful , kind and takes the time to listen to you. She really knows her stuff. I had back surgery and the pain was gone immediately.

My husband had 2 bulging discs which was pinching a nerve. He was in extreme pain. Dr Guyot did surgery. She gave him his life back.

I would highly recommend dr.guyot I went to dr Jackson for my first two back surgeries and had a bad experience the pain never did go away I had to have a third surgery so I went to dr.guyot she was by far a better doctor explained everything to me and got the job done correctly I would go back to her for future surgery and have recommended her to the other friends and they all had great results

Dr Guyot is an excellent surgeon. She takes time to explain the procedure and the results and listens to your concerns. She is prompt and I have never had to wait for my appointments. All three of my procedures have resulted in excellent outcomes.

A lifting injury followed by months of pain management epidurals eventually required surgery. Dr Guyot was highly recommended and soon repaired two herniated discs. I am completely healed and pain free. Dr Guyot is straightforward, an extremely skilled surgeon, and a wonderful and engaging personality. I highly recommend her.
