Horrible and Frightening When she trashed me and the hard work that had improved my numbers I realized who she really was and what her priorities truly were. No longer could I explain away what I thought at the time were odd statements and behavior. No, that darkness was right in front of me with absolutely no empathy nor apology. It's good that she has moved on (and I now pray about all of this) otherwise I had planned to find a new endocrinologist.

All of my visits are excellent. Dr. Hayes cares much more about my well-being than I generally do. She is quite informed and easy to talk to. She is willing to entertain my approach to controlling my diabetes and is willing (guardedly) in modifying my treatment. Her latest suggestion of a specific medication was a winner (weight loss and less dependency on insulin injections). She is the only doctor I have ever actually enjoyed going to see.

Rude and arrogant. Doesn't listen to symptoms. Patronized me. Terrible everything. Do not go to her.

I went to Doctor Hays for years, then all at once, my prescription expired because I was due for an appointment. I went to pick it up and Walgreens said my doctor said I was due for an appointment, even though I still had 6 refills. Dr. Hays' office had NEVER called to tell me this and just cut off my Synthroid medication. I've called and left messages for her nurse with no response, telling her that I'm becoming ill without my medication. So now I'm trying to find a new endocrinologist.

Doctor Hays is wonderful. Just kind,,understanding and helpful.. Problem you never get to see her everytime. I had to be seen by a retired Doctor that I guess wanted to do a little work to fill up some time. I had to wait the longest time ever. Then he said he thought I was taking to much inulin. He wanted me to check it for a couple if weeks. I tried lowering, but was in the 400's. Not a good idea. Dr. Hays is great if you can always get in to see her I say go for it. You won't be sorry.

Dr. Hays is a wonderful person. However, it is nearly impossible to get anyone in the office to answer a phone call or call you back. It is very frustrating that their office is closed at 3:20 on a Thursday afternoon. I am going to transfer to another Endocrinologist because there is simply not a satisfactory level of help in their office. It's a shame they can't do better. Just answer the phone, once in a while. It's quite ridiculous.
