Dr. Lisa Masterson, MD

I saw Dr. Masterson for 7 years before my pregnancy. I became very ill five months into my pregnancy. Difficulty breathing, high fever. She told me to take another otc pain reliever fever reducer repeatedly when I begged, cried, and pleaded with her to come in. I was so scared and this went on for two weeks until I finally took myself to the ER. She never even came in to see me. I found a new OB. I had pneumonia in both lungs and was admitted for two weeks. My blood oxygen level was so low they were worried they would have to intubate me. Her office was cold and dismissive and I knew no one at the hospital would treat me without permission from my OB/GYN this was true.

Lisa Masterson runs a sloppy office. She has ONE assistant running around doing everything from setting up appointments to drawing blood, and juggling billing and phone calls. It's stressful to be a patient in that environment. The Dr. also has a poor bedside manner and an attitude. I would say she is thorough but would not recommend her your Gyno.

I have being seeing this Doctor for 2 years. The lady at the front desk always told me that my insurance was covering for everything and I only had to pay for my copayment. 2 years later, I received a bill for more than 3 000 dollars. I immediately called her office who seemed surprise and told me that they will check with their billing department and get back to me. Never did! Called again and again ... same thing.... "We will get back to you"... Nothing!! The charges are ridiculous. DO NOT GO
