Dr. Roy is an Internal Medicine specialist. She has a personable, laid back style & her medical acumen, treatment plans and compassion surpass many I’ve seen. I am from the Midwest, have traveled throughout the U.S. & have lived in New York City and in Texas each for more than a decade. I find Dr. Roy to be neither “arrogant“, nor an “...ignorant “country doctor” “ as one reviewer so condescendingly wrote. Dr. Roy treated me with care, spent a great deal of time w/me and listened closely to my symptoms. Her medical acumen was spot on, for example, in diagnosing my walking pneumonia, missed by another, but later supported via objective evidence and another specialist’s opinion. She also discusses her treatments w/me to fit the best plan w/my needs and realistic abilities.

Schooled in West Virginia. Lisa Roy is an arrogant and ignorant “country doctor” who believes in conspiracy theories and other extremist propaganda. Gossips about things she’s read online, but hasn’t properly researched. Ridicules patients’ political views. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone for any reason. As far as her medical knowledge goes, I wouldn’t trust her to remove a splinter, let alone anything important.
