Dr. Liviu Rappaport, MD

My Mother has been to Chilton and the rehabs in Lincoln park a few times and not once has Dr Rappaport provided us with information on her condition. Does not call you back. Leaves you hanging. In fact, the whole system is like this between Chilton and rehabs. You call the nurses and they NEVER call back. Ridiculous!

Horrible bedside manner. Prescribes then wrong medicines. Doesn’t follow up with other treating doctors. Just does his own plan when patient is hospitalized.

Always excellent. The entire staff is compassionate and thorough. Dr. Rappaport and his colleagues saved my life. They were compassionate, excellent bedside manner and ethical. I recommend Dr. Rappaport and his staff. Dr. Rappaport truly cares about his patients.

I visited his office once a month for over a year and only saw the doctor ONE time. I was forced to deal with incompetent nurses that were rude, condescending, and clearly unqualified to be practicing in any sort of medical position. He also runs several rehabilitation facilities, one of which is CarOne in Wayne, which almost killed my father. They refused to call an ambulance saying that their "in house" doctor needed to sign off and approve for their own private transportation company to take him to the ER. Well how can a mystery doctor that never shows his face possibly sign off on anything? This lasted two days until we were forced to call 911, resulting in chaos because the staff is a bunch of blithering idiots. Do not deal with any facility associated with him.

I left Dr. Rappaport, a great doctor, 4 years ago after 12 years because I could no longer take the horrible treatment of his abusive office manager. I accessed this site today to check if she's still there. It's clear from the January 23, 2018 comment (above) that she is and at her meanest! The worst was calling for test results after waiting more than a week only to have her nastily respond in a raised voice as though you had called repeatedly. No compassion, no civility, not professional.

Doctor is very good. His office manager is nasty, condescending, no compassion, belittling, reprimanding. I have never in my life experienced this in a medical facility before. The doctor should not allow this woman to treat his patients this way. We as patients are looking for compassion and support and need of encouragement. There is absolutely no reason to feel this anguish while in the fight for your life. This office manager needs to be reprimanded, fired!

Great and caring doc who spends time and knows his stuff.

I met this doctor when I was hospitalized. Instead of being taken seriously, I was told that I had "nursing student anxiety" and "white coat syndrome" by this physician. I asked this physician if my symptoms could be autoimmune, (rashes, fainting, elevated blood pressure and pulse rate) as I already have two other autoimmune diseases -- he said no. He knew white coat syndrome when he saw it. That's a quote. I was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus months later. Scary!

Absolutely terrible. Office is incompetent, scheduling appts, calling in scripts, calling back. Rude as well. If you are in need of meds and this office is your lifeline to get the meds thru pharmacy or mail in medications they will leave you without meds and im sorry blaming your pharmacy or your insurance . My previous drs never had issues like this and i have had meds for many years. I highly do not recommend this office.

Dr. Rappaport is the Physician of All Physicians. He is highly knowledgeable, gracious, respectful and compassionate. My life was spared when I was delivered to the care of Dr. Rappaport, his staff and colleagues. Thank You Dr. Rappaport. Your patient from SAG-AFTRA.

For my self!, I can say Dr. Rappaport is an exceptional Dr. with a wonderful staff , with confidence I would not only Highly recommend Dr. Rapport ! for he is also my wife's Doctor and that is a recommendation that is from the heart ! I give the DR. five stars and i give his staff and associates five stars !

I can't say enough good things about Dr Rappaport. Very compassionate and would highly recommend him.

Dr Rappaport saved my life when I had pulmonary embolisms. He and his staff were so great with my care that he is now my primary care physician. I have never been to a better doctor's office in my life.
