staff is the best!
if u want a quick 5 min appt, this isn't the office for u. But if u are in need of a doc that will spend over an hr with u to help figure our ur health problems and the kindest staff u will ever meet, then i highly suggest these ladies! my appts are always at least an hr, but when u leave all ur questions are answered and u know u gotta good team on ur side. they got me back to feeling human and comforted me thru the entire process of my new life long treatment. id give a 10 out of 5 if i could. doc is different but her staff will legit have u feelin like family!

I've gone to Dr. Nelson for years and she's seen my son since he was just a few months old as well because he has severe food allergies and asthma. I've had many problems with their office. The office is very outdated, the staff and the doctor give conflicting information. Not to be rude but Dr. Nelson is very odd and does not take the time to explain much to you. They've given my son the wrong allergy shots in the past. They have messed up his food allergy testing. Charted his food allergies incorrectly. He has tested positive for allergies to new foods and we were never even told about the new result and I found out later on only after inquiring about the specific results of the test and requesting a copy for myself.

Condescending, does not like children, not as knowledgeable as she likes to present herself. Long office wait time, screwed up allergy testing and was rude about it, does not speak to pediatric patients, really seems to despise children. I would never, ever, ever, recommend you take your child here.

Dr Nelson is an expert in her field. She saved my life, when others threw up their hands and took refuse in “its an allergy”. I have idiopathic Urticaria and it became life threatening. Dr Nelson has dogged determination and WILL find answers. I can’t say enough about Dr Nelson.

We have been going to Dr Nelson for over 17 years. She is very knowledgeable in food allergies, and other allergies. Very intelligent, she can look up my kids noses and tell them in 3 days you will have a cold, they usually do. Yes, you wait when you go, but she always spends lots of time explaining things to the mom and patient. When my daughter was 6 and didn't want to take her inhaler, she explained to her why she had to in her terms, then went and got a book that she could read and explained why she needed to take it. When my daughter has issues, they are always willing to get her in, or figure out the best treatment since we are over an hour away, over the phone .

I waited an hour and a half for her to examine my young infant. The office is very old and-- I don't want to be rude-- but, it was gross. The physician was condescending once she finally arrived. Her nurse stated conflicting information. And they left my insurance network after I scheduled the appointment, so I had to pay over $300 out of pocket to waste an afternoon with a crabby doctor.

Wait to see the doctor is outrageous. Once waited 3 hours to see the doctor. It was a new patient appointment and the next available time would have been 5 months later! Plus they "misplaced" the fact that both of my children were supposed to have an appointment, so only 1 of them was seen. She does spend a lot of time with the patient but had to bounce back and fourth to do so. After5 mths wait finally got me my sons lab results that the doctor had never even looked at!!!

Wait to see the doctor is outrageous. Once I had to cancel my appointment after waiting to see the doctor for an hour. She does spend a lot of time with the patient but had to bounce back and fourth to do so. She was rude to my daughter and very hard to talk to. Will not return.
