Dr. Lonnie Zeltzer is treating my son's IBS pain, and brain trauma suffered from chronic bowel pains. She has a wealth of knowledge and real life experience. I found her to be very responsive to my inquiry knowing she must be over burdened with her responsibilities managing both clinical and research sides of her medical practice. Also, she is teaching at UCLA. Dr. Zeltzer's time is in high demand. Good doctors always are. One must be very patient. I have full confidence in her ability.

When the doctor asks to see you again in 6 weeks for a follow up but the next available appointment isn't for another 3 months, you have a big problem. Also, running an hour late for an 8am appointment is unacceptable. Too bad, because Dr. Zeltzer is very knowledgeable and kind, she's just way, way overloaded. Disappointing experience and involved many outside referrals and practitioners, but couldn't get follow up appointments to coordinate my care.
