This practice refused to scheduled visits when needed and treated us like trash when we needed basic prescriptions denying care. Unreal! Lack of support and empathy.

Dr. Dowie is the best! She is NOT rude! She is caring and thorough, leaving no stone unturned until she finds the route of the medical problem. She has saved my husband several times from terrible outcomes. I myself have been treated by her. She was able to figure out what other doctors could not. She is intelligent and will go out of her way to make sure you have the best health. Her staff are kind and friendly. To the previous complainers, I don’t know who you were seeing, but it wasn’t Dr. Dowie. Always a complainer in the group!

They are sarcastic while they tried to be “nice” zero empathy and they don’t follow up exams. This office is a business not a health care facility

Our only visit at the Elite Coastal Healthcare was a disaster unlike my visits at MD Now, where doctors show more compassion and interest. I was very weak, recovering from a sever allergic reaction and Covid. Dr Dowie's NP, scolded me mistakingly on dangerous virus spreading, suggesting that I was endangering everyone's health in the clinic; the staff, the patients and especially her staff's newborn. "Had I not learned anything in the past two years?" She handed me a useless mask, which I respectfully accepted. She realized after her demeaning lecture that I had done my quarantine days ago and was no longer contagious. She told me that, "anyway", Covid was just like "a mild cold". No apologies for her aggressive approach and her honest mistake; she suggested to take Tums for an ongoing tension in my abdomen interferring with my breathing. She never offered to look at a rash covering half my body. We felt that she wanted us out of there.

I have worked in the medical field for 20+ years. I have close interaction with doctors. When I came across Dr Dowie 15 years ago, I knew she was superior to other general doctors. Her office is run very professional. Her staff is kind and very knowledgeable. Dr Dowie is super intelligent and her guidance I trust with my life. The communication with this office is super quick. When you leave a message via phone or the office portal, I always receive a response within 24 hours.

Dr. Dowie is amazing. Best patient care i’ve ever gotten. Everyone there is so sweet, kind and attentive. The MA is the funniest person i’ve ever met. Highly recommend!

So happy with my care here. I called in and spoke with a very helpful gentleman (Collins I think). He helped me through connecting with their portal and scheduled my appointment. When I arrived, I was kindly greeted by his smiling face. I have Osteoporosis and 2 fractures, yet my previous doctor never spent any time discussing it with me or starting medication. My first visit with Dr Dowie, she was so knowledgeable. Spent over 45 minutes with me discussing why bone loss occurs and treatment options for it. She discussed testing options and found that I have something called parathyroid disorder. This has been causing my bones to ache and become brittle! Elaine set me up with a specialist ASAP. I am scheduled to see a surgeon for removal of the suspected tumor causing this. Thank you for an amazing first experience to Dr Dowie and her Team.

She is a phenomenal physician. Very knowledgeable and caring. Not sure where the negativity is coming from other than staff.

I was blown away by the lack of professionalism from this dr. To say she was rude is an understatement. By far the worst encounter I've had with any physician.

Very dissappointed that I have been a patient of Dr. Dowie's since 2010 and I have called 3 times and sent an email to schedule an appointment. I always get an answering machine that says they will call back within 24 to 48 hours; however, I have never received a call back. I sent an email and there was no response. Other reviews talk about how good Dr. Dowie is; however, her staff is the worst. Well if Dr. Dowie cannot get a handle on her staff, how can she be trusted to provide an accurate diagnosis or treatment. So sad!!

Extremely rude and unpleasant doctor. Bedside manner could use some work for sure. Don’t go to her unless you prefer to be talked down to and not have your point of view heard

I just switched over to Dr Dowie after I saw how much time she was willing to spend with my mother. Dr Dowie cares and makes sure you are healthy from all sides. The bad reviews on this site make no sense to me.

My experience with this practice has been pure excellence at every encounter. They are professional, friendly, and highly competent. I went to this practice after a bad experience elsewhere and could not have been treated better. As a nurse, I know what bedside manner is, and these practitioners have it. They are the most thorough and comprehensive practice I have ever encountered.

Excellent doctor with a even better reputation within the medical professionals. So happy we both found her. She is extremely professional and available when you need her.
