Dr. Lori Johnson, MD

I am allergic to a variety of foods. I can barely eat any food for that matter. This only became apparent to me about two years ago after get tested for food allergens. Well fast forward about a year later and I tried to get tested again to see what I can actually eat. After waiting two months to get scheduled. Lori Johnson had the nerve to refuse testing me because “she needed results from GI doctor about my colonoscopy.” She is didactic and condescending. She made me feel bad about not knowing my results and scolded me.She didn’t test me for any food although I told her how much pain I am in day in and day out. being allergic to a gluten, eggs, corn, dairy etc is not fun, and it takes a toll on u. most doctors I know become so to make people feel better. regardless of those results she needed, they were then and now irrelevant to getting tested for food allergies. Never except someone who doesn’t know your pain to understand it, even if it their job.

I highly recommend Dr Lori Johnson for allergy issues. She is extremely thorough in her testing and researching current trends in the medical field. She spends time to listen to her patients and asks for their input as to what seems to help or hinder treatment Dr Johnson has called me several times to discuss test results and has coordinated what she has done with my primary care doctor. That insures a consistent plan of treatment. She is professional, polite and energizing Both my wife and I are 100% satisfied with Dr Johnson and glad to recommend her

Visit was within time period. Spent time asking questions any new Dr./patient would require. Performed allergy tests promptly. Main issue was addressed briefly with not a lit of feedback. Repeatedly contacted office for a conversation about issues continuing to be an issue. Have yer to receive a communication with her from my messages. Guess the only way to speak with her is to make another appointment. Frustrating!!!
