Dr. Louis Iorio, MD

I’m disappointed to say that I did not have the great experience with this physician that so many others have seemed to. He was incredibly rude to myself and my husband, showing virtually no bedside manner, empathy or care. I want to chalk it up to him just having a busy or bad day, but when you have new parents sitting in one of your exam rooms, terrified that their 4 month old is very sick, you put that aside and treat them with kindness. He was very condescending when answering our questions. I would never return to see him under any circumstances.

When I first met Dr. Iorio, my child was in crisis. He had been recently diagnosed with HSP. I was anxious and uptight since two previous providers were not successful in alleviating the crisis. I credit Dr. Iorio with restoring and maintaining my child's health. He greeted us warmly and attended to my child with a caring and methodical approach. He demonstrated knowledge of HSP and ordered everything we needed to alleviate the crisis he was in. I must say, he is a good listener. He includes us as active participants in the care plan. he teaches and gives us helpful suggestions to assist us in overcoming illness and/or to supplement healthy living. His approach has had a calming effect on us and with each subsequent visit, reassured me my child was in competent hands. Dr. Iorio has established with us a doctor-patient relationship that is honest, respectful, patient, dedicated and confident. His staff demonstrates the same Excellence in Service. My child states: 'I trust him.'

Dr Iorio is an experienced pediatrician. He identified jaundice in my newborn at her 2 day old visit when she was bright red. He diagnosed pinworms in my kids when I thought it was a yeast infection. He always gets them in for same day visits when they are sick. I feel extremely comfortable asking him questions and with his diagnosis. He is the best pediatrician in Mesa and frankly, in that office.

We LOVE Dr. Iorio. He is literally the BEST pediatrician we could have ever asked for! We take all 4 of our kids to see him and have been going to him for about 5.5 years now. He is a BOSS at catching heart murmurs and other diagnoses. He gets things done in a timely manner. We've needed to be referred to specialists for our 2 youngest daughters and EVERYONE speaks so highly of him.

Dr. Iorio fights for my kids, I always know that he cares about them and diagnoses them correctly!!! I hardly ever have to wait long at appointments. I love that he has privileges at the hospitals, so we get to see him. AMAZING Pediatrician, we love Dr. Iorio!!!!

This is the best pediatrician office you will be able to find. Dr iorio is extremely knowledgeable and diagnosed things in my son Weston that his previous pediatrician could not. The staff is amazing they are wonderful they are quick when you need a referral, they are extremely friendly with amazing personalities. They are so giving and I wouldn't trust my son and anyone else's hands other than pediatric medical associates I love the doctor, I love the staff, I love the place if I ever have another child they will be going there as well. If your child is the center of your world like mine is then go here you won't be disappointed

Dr. Iorio is the best pediatrician. Very knowledgeable and very thorough. My kids love going to his office and I am so glad he is our pediatrician. The office staff is also very nice. We could not ask for a better office to take our kids to.

My son has been seeing dr iorio for over 17 years. my son is autistic and was born with many issues and also has a rare auto immune disorder called evans syndrome. dr iorio has given my son excellent care and knows his stuff! no matter what he went in for the doctor knew right away what was wrong and treatment was given. he is the best and he is straight to the point! he sees us when its last minute and never makes us wait. best pediatrician in the valley!

We have been going to see Dr. Iorio since we moved to AZ for our son. He is an excellent pediatrician and takes the perfect amount of time with us at each visit. Especially in urgent situations, he had always made the time for us.

After giving birth I treated myself to a milk. Dr. Iorio came in unannounced, did not introduce himself but stated, "you don't need to drink milk to make milk" then left. It happened so fast! I had to ask my nurse who this rude person had been! I had great difficulty BFing and at our 2 week checkup my 80%w baby dropped to 30%w! I specifically asked about tongue-tie. Dr. Iorio said it was not present. Guess what, the problem was a tongue-tie. A different Dr corrected things surgically thankfully

Dr. Iorio has been my daughter's pediatrician since birth and he has always provided the best care and expertise in every situation. From simple problems like ear infections to more complex disorders requiring ongoing care, Dr. Iorio knows what to do. Even in the most stressful scenarios he offers advise that I didn't consider (such as what medications and dosage are best for each situation and how to make my daughter comfortable). I also love that I always receive same day care!

I had Dr Iorio as a child and now my children go to him. He is a walking encyclopedia, extremely intelligent, and thorough.

Out of the pediatricians the insurance listed for me, he had the best reviews. I was disappointed. From the moment he entered the room, he was all business. He didn't introduce himself, didn't take the time to learn about my children, even the one he was seeing today, and hardly even looked at me. He took a quick look at my baby, told me how often she should pee and poop, and gave me Vitamin D drops without a real explanation. Didn't even ask if I had any questions, just left.

Dr iorio is an amazing dr he is the best i have all four children seeing him and their health is in excellent hands im greatful for a pediatrician like him if you looking for a great dr your found one in this man Thank you Dr. IORIO Ms. Jones

Dr. Iorio was my pediatrician along with all of my sister's and their children. My child is now seeing Dr. Iorio. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to talk with you if you have any questions or concerns. His staff is amazing as well.

Always assertive, professional, caring and very knowledgeable in his profession. Dr. Iorio is always on task and doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to diagnosis. I have taken all four of my boys and now my grandchildren to his practice. When my son was very little, Dr. Iorio discovered my son had a rare and potentially deadly disease and was able to treat it. For that, I am always and forever thankful and greatful to have him as our family pediatrician. He is the best!

First off let me start by saying this is the first review i'm writing for anybody ! I've been going to Dr. Iorio for 13 years now , I have 2 boys and just recently had a baby girl . I already knew he was gonna be her pediatrician right when the question was asked. He is amazing The staff is also very friendly and I never once have I had a problem with them! So I highly recommend this office to every body ! He will always be my kids doctor until he retires

Examines methodically, explains possible condition, listens well, does not prescribe antibiotics unnecessarily. Would recommend him without a second thought.

My children began seeing Dr. Iorio 29 years ago and he continues to see my youngest two children. Dr. Iorio has been their primary care physician through cancer treatments with one of my sons, chronic illness diagnosis and treatments with one of my daughters and general childhood injuries, and illnesses. We live in west Phoenix and make the drive to Mesa because he and his staff provide the best care that my children have received at any doctor in the valley which is still true today.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Iorio to my family and friends. Dr. Iorio is very easy going and personable. He answered all my questions without talking down to me. I never felt rushed though I know its an extremely busy practice. I truly trust him with my daughter health and well being. Honestly I am impressed with everyone so far at this practice. Doctors, Nurses and Staff. We drive 30 mins to his office.
