My daughter had lyme disease, it was very obvious. He said she didn't. He yelled at us when she started getting treatment for it. She is well now because of the treatments, no thanks to him. We found a different family doctor. If we had listened to him, she may have died.

He definitely has an agenda;
I had an MRI that showed frozen shoulder in my shoulder and it also said no evidence of a tear. I wanted to treat it with massage and therapy. Dr. Kasunic INSISTED I see an orthopedic surgeon (and he kept referring to my rotator cuff tear), and when I refused and asked for a PT referral, his assistant told me she was going to note in my medical records that I am refusing to do what Dr. Kasunic prescribed. I fired the whole office and sought out a different provider.

Dr. Kasunic has been my physician for over 20 years. His expertise in osteopathy helped me with my chronic back pain. The office staff is always friendly and I really appreciate the small town vibe.

My husband has been a patient of Dr Kasunic's for 12yrs. 4yrs ago I was having extreme pain, so much, that I was in and out of the hospital. I moved my care to Castle Rock Family Physicians, and within 5 minutes Dr K had diagnosed me. He is loving and gentle. We've since moved 2 hours away, but we still make the trip to see him. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Dr. Kasunic is thorough and attentive. He runs a tight ship, so if you have several needs, tell the scheduler in advance so the correct amount of time is scheduled. I trust Dr. Kasunic to help me with my health needs, and he does. His referrals to specialists have been well chosen.

Over charges patients. $260 for a typical office visit, to refill a prescription. Would not give cost estimate in advance. Receptionist, Tabitha, unhelpful. Office manager unwilling to give name, unwilling to give email, unwilling to give any name of person in-charge. Unwilling to revisit bill. No one at the entire office would even speak to me other than the receptionist (who put words in my mouth, had an attitude, and was unhelpful). I do not recommend this office.

We have wasted SO much money going to this office and still have NO answers. The front desk staff is extremely rude and lack medical knowledge. Dr. Kasunic only spends a maximum of 15 minutes with you. If you have multiple concerns and questions, don’t expect them to be addressed or answered. During one of my MANY appointments he told me he would go look for a device he wanted me to wear and he would be back.. never came back. Horrible office and terrible customer service. Do not go here.

I should of listened to reviews UGH! I made an appt for 3 issues. During my visit after I said "and my 3rd issue" he loudly said "ANOTHER ISSUE YOU ONLY HAVE 15 MINUTE APPT AND IF YOU NEEDED MORE TIME YOU SHOULD OF BEEN SCHEDULED" I DID when I made appt! He didnt run the correct blood work and His staff is incompetent! I waited 9 business days for MRI referral and when I complained they told me we are not welcomed there anymore. He told my 15yr old to get pregnant to cure endometriosis!

Disappointing. Dr. Kasunic was quite hospitable upon initial appointment, but thereafter, any need seemed to be overlooked and forgotten about. His uneducated staff seems to use these "overlooked" requests as an opportunity to schedule further appointments, in which the same thing is discussed, and again, no action taken. The whole process with this office was just an absolute waste of my time. The MO of the staff is to schedule appointments and overlook initial needs for sake of furthering EBIT

Dr. Kasunic is terrific! He was able to get me on the right medicines (without horrible side effects) to manage my diabetes when no other doctor could. Sometimes he does order what seem like extensive tests, but it's because he is cautious and thorough. I appreciate that he's looking out for my total well being, not just treating 1 symptom!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Kasunic?
Dr, Kasunic is good doc during your 15 minute appt. If you need more than 15 minutes, you are out of luck - he rushes you out! This Practice is all about bringing in the $$$ and office staff is extremely rude! Office staff doesn't have an ounce of sympathy or empathy. Practice manager refuses to speak with clients and staff has zero experience working with insurance companies approval processes. Received 1 star because zero stars were not an option! Choose another DR!

We have been with CRFP for 5 yrs and have had good care from Kristine Beck, but the office staff has been harsh to my daughter, who is 21, for the last couple of yrs. They cancelled her appt with a phone message because they thought she only needed shots, when in reality she really wanted to see her provider! Then they filled the appt without talking to her first! She really needed to see her provider and she's been waiting to talk to her. They pretty much told her too bad. When my daughter turn

Wish we read all these reviews...it's 100% true that this practice just wants $!! They never explain benefits or the fact that different assesments/test given during your visit will end up in $$$$ more billed later!! Front office staff was extremely rude to me and said there's nothing they can do now. Never even called us back for reviewing our results!! Horrible practice!!! Don't waste your time or your $!

Dr. Kasunic's office exists for one reason: to collect your money. If you have extenuating circumstances and want to set up a payment plan, forget about it. They will refuse to care for your children.

I had to find a new Dr when Plum Creek Medical closed down. I had seen this Dr a couple times because of a prescription I take. I needed to get an Rx refill and was told by the pharmacy I needed to get a med check from my doctor, which is fine even though there is no requirement for regular blood screens. $2013.52 later they ran every blood test possible run and for some reason a ultrasound of my carotid arteries. I feel scammed and violated. Never go to this doctor

When I made this appointment, I explained that I needed lab orders for my thyroid that my specialist recommended, and I wasn't sure how that worked. They told me they knew what I was talking about and it was fine. I get here and he says he wouldn't do it and seemed very angry. He said he would either be the one to treat me or nothing at all. I explained I need to see the specialist because primary care physicians back home could not get it straight. He refused, and seemed angry,and just left

First things first. Your people at the front desk are the "face and voice" of your business and they are not friendly at all. Second your MA that takes blood pressure should learn how to treat everyone with respect. This lady absolutely treated my husband poorly because of his size. Dr. Kasunic spent less than 2 min with him and sent him on his way like he was too busy. I see the other Dr. in the practice but will no longer spend any money with them after this experience.
