Always caring and easy to talk to.
I have been a patient of Lowell Phipps for over 10 years and I am very satisfied with the care and service he provides. He’s easy to talk to and very thorough in his diagnosis and treatment. In addition his office staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Phipps Family Medicine.

Family doctor
Dr. Phipps has been my family doctor since 2012. He is a skilled MD, who is easy to talk to, and always concerned about my health. He has always made sure that I get any care I need, and is very analytical in resolving any medical needs I have.

My experience was this: Dr. Phipps ordered blood work to be done on the 5th. I waited until the 25th to call their office and see if results were in. I was told they were, but the doctor had not signed off on them. I waited. Finally I called again on the 2nd of the following month. The lady said she would make sure someone called. No one called. Finally, I resorted to another private message through social message stating that I would like my results. I received a call the next morning. Kristen S. left me shaken and in tears after I hung up the phone. She was condescending and arrogant. After she told me my testosterone levels were too high, she sarcastically asked if I was taking testosterone supplements. When I told her that I was on hormone therapy with another doctor, she acted as if the other doctor was an idiot. She berated me for wanting to know my results after several weeks. I still don’t fully understand my results. I really liked Dr. Phipps but will not return.

Dr. Phipps is an excellent doctor, it appears that the negative responses against him are because of how the office was run which he had no control over unfortunately. He has left the old place and opened his own new practice called Phipps Family Medicine.

He is a very good doctor and he is the only doctor I ever met that has a sense of humor like he does! I would highly recommend him to people of any age! Everything was done very quickly and efficiently! Dr. Lowell F. Phipps has a lot of valuable training and he is sharing it! He has a wonderful family with six children! He doesn't dress like the typical doctor! He's more casual which also was also a shock! He must really enjoy what he is doing! I am so glad he was recommended to me!!

The Doctor is fine, the office however is a complete mess. The office manager was rude and very unhelpful. We just needed a insurance referral and I had to go to the office after 5 days of nothing to receive any help. Do not see this office. The Dr. may be fine, but the office staff is horrible.

Rude, LONG wait in patient room. There over an hour and never saw anyone AFTER the nurse told me my blood pressure was too high. Said I was ready to leave and her response was "ok". Let feed back at office, never heard from them. Pitiful!

I am a very satisfied, 20+ year patient of Dr. Phipps. Over the years the quality of service from his office staff has deteriorated to an unacceptably poor level. No followup or callback on referrals or tests. I must always call them and initiate next steps. As I write this I am on hold listening to a phone ring. A recorded message answers to tell me I can’t leave a message and hangs up. The best care I receive is emergency care when Dr. Phipps is on call when the office staff is not involved.

I absolutely love Dr.Phipps! He really takes the time to listen and is very thorough. In my case he did not give up until he figured out what was wrong. We went through a very scary time with my daughters health but having Dr. Phipps in my corner made us all feel better!

MCNT is really bad about answering their phone or returning phone calls. It's rare that you can actually get a hold of a person when calling. I had a referral to another doctor that MCNT never sent. I finally had to drive to the office to pick it up in person. The office communication with patients is horrible.

Dr. Phipps is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent diagnostician, which is what I am looking for in a Primary Physician. All physicians and/or surgeons he has recommended have been absolutely A-1.
