He answers all my questions and is kind has patience. I came in to see him feeling the worst I had ever felt. I felt comfortable right away. The Nursing and front staff has a special way of easing that anxiety away. I'm so thrilled my mother-in-law suggested Dr.Diaz and I listened.

Great Exeperience!
I was skeptical of course after reading the reviews. The staff was great, and easy to work with from the start, they got me in within a week. I waited maybe 30mins past my appointment time. It's clear to me now Dr. Diaz takes time with each patient, so a wait is ok with me knowing that I received great care as he was through and took his time with me. I think he will do the same for you. He was very friendly and very open and honest with me about my test results. I will recommend him and use him again in the future if the need arises!

This doctor is awesome!
I am so grateful for Dr. Diaz, he took the time to find the right diagnosis for my condition through series of tests and symptoms analysis. He did not rush in prescribing medication until he was certain of my diagnose. He has improved my life tremendously in the past one year and probably saved me from a stroke. He carefully picks my medication and ensures I have it even when my insurance did not approve it. He takes the time to get informed on my other prescriptions and conditions that may interact with his treatment. I have no words to describe how lucky I am to have this doctor and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a knowledgeable and caring neurologist. His staff is also very professional and caring. You may have to wait longer to see him but he is worth the wait and will make sure he spends enough time with you. He is expert in his field and also truly caring for his patients which is very rare to find in Las Vegas.

The staff in the office were very nice to me, thanks! As far as the doctor, WOW! He walked in never introduce himself at all. Im a parkinson's disease patient with a whole list of different motor and non motor symptoms that I was looking forward to finally being able to explain my new symptoms. Well that never happened. I really felt like just another co-pay. A qiuck knock on the knees and basic rigidity test and that was it. Doc for someone that is feeling the way I have for 4 years a little more compassion from your end would have been the professional thing to do. Maybe let your patient explain so you can actually treat them. I could even hear you with the patient next door and you totally cut him off when he was speaking trying to explain to you how he felt. Do you have parkinson's disease doctor Diaz? Do you really know exactly how it feels doctor Diaz? You just walked out of the room and never even said good bye nice meeting you nothing. I felt so let down when I left. Shocked!

Just another co-pay! – Sep 22, 2020
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Diaz?
Had all my past records sent to him at least one week prior to my appt. When the doctor finally came in to see me he had my file and obviously had not read any part of it. So most of the time spent with him was watching him thumb through pages of past history of care. He was hard to understand partly because of the mask. He seemed angry that I was referred to him because in his opinion my condition was not neurological.

I have been seeing Dr. Diaz for over 10 yrs and he was the only Dr. Who said to me straight out ... " I want to help you "!! After almost 3 yrs of having every other Dr. Tell me there was really nothing wrong with my neck of there was nothing they could do ! I am very happy with Dr. Diaz ! Yes there are times I have to wait longer than 45minutes ,But not to often .He also listens to what I tell him !

Waited for half the day, everyone said this is normal. He spent a good amount of time with me and was thorough, was told to be patient to wait for insurance authorization, I was. I called the office multiple times after several months only to get answering service and no return call. When I did speak with office, they would tell me they would call my insurance and call me back, but never did. 9 months went by....10 months, a year. Finally it dawned on me that I should just call my insurance myself. Guess what? They had NEVER received a request for treatment!! It had never even been sent in! I was so furious! A year of my life waiting for treatment. I called and the office told me I would have to come back in now and get a new consult because it had been too long since I was seen. I asked them to please waive my co-pay and the office manager(Dawn) refused. That was it. I was done. Went to Cleveland Clinic, was seen in 2 weeks. WOW! Don't put up with this office!

Dr. Luis Diaz has been my dr for many years. I have referred many people to him because he was the only dr that found the correct diagnosis for my very rare painful condition. He is very thorough. He stays up with neurological research & implements best practices. He is also very caring & compassionate-which I find has become less frequent in the medical community. Everyone I’ve referred him to has been very pleased! Consequently, I don’t agree with any of the negative posts!!

An hour and a half past my appointment time. They said maybe another hour. No courtesy. Asked to reschedule. But the doctor runs late every day. Those of us who work have schedules and have to take off but then have to sit there for 2+ hours. I walked out and will find a new doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Diaz for over seven years. He is thorough in his evaluations, providing top-notch results. He has constantly provide me with the best care and advice. Waiting times may be longer than some other doctors, but you have to realize that is because he takes whatever time is required to fully inform the patient about their diagnosis and treatment options. Anyone who has been a long-time patient of Dr. Diaz knows this, and is more than willing to await our turn.

Long wait times to be seen, when I always called got the answering service which were always very rude. He advised I had Still Persons Syndrome even though blood work came back negative. He want to start me on some IV drip three times a week, four hours each session, stated if I moved out of state I wouldn’t be able to continue treatment cause they’ll say I don’t have it. Which turns out I don’t have stiff persons syndrome. To get copies of your medical records they charge $20-25 crazy, my rec

90+ minute wait to see doctor. Lady at reception desk was surly to say the least and refused to acknowledge me for 7 minutes because she was busy visiting with a patient (discussing dogs).. Doctor would barely let me get a word in edgewise. Almost got up and walked out multiple times. Wish I had.

He is the best neurologist in Las Vegas. He is incredibly kind & empathetic. He took the time to thoroughly test me & find a diagnosis. I had been to many doctors & had run across so many who rushed through the tests & didn't really listen to me. Dr. Diaz really drills down & asks a lot of questions! I was so shocked by his caring manner & intensive testing. I had almost given up on finding help until I met him. You may have a long wait in the waiting room becasue he does this for everyone.

Dr Diaz was suggested to me after 3 years of seeking a solution and reaching a point where i was never going to see another Dr..His warmth and compassion instantly made me comfortable, He listened and actually heard me, He was the one who discovered that I had a malignant brain tumor and had been misdiagnosed for years, referred me to a wonderful surgeon .. He is truly an amazing human being who happens to be a Dr..I now am 21 years away from that diagnoses still grateful to Dr Diaz :)!!
