After 1yr of “treatment”
Nothing against the doctor’s professional capability, as for the rest, the staff is okay but, 1.Don’t expect to get reminders of you upcoming appt. 2.If you forget/miss your appt, they’ll reschedule you - at least 3 MONTHS later! 3.It is quite difficult, sometimes, to have your calls answered. 4. If and when the Dr, suddenly won’t be in the office on the date of your appt, they WILL NOT warn you and reschedule you and they WILL MARK IT AS A MISSED APPOINTMENT - at your fault.

Dr. Gaitan is a thorough, kind and insightful Neurologist. I was especially pleased with the time he took to explain the diagnosis he gave my mother of 87. It been difficult to find physicians in the RGV that I could respect and trust... I am pleased that Dr. Gaitan is one of them. I would definitely recommend any patient to seek his care.

I was having symptoms of stroke amd Dr Gaitan wasnt sure what I was having, he said there was no evidence on MRI and instead had a class observing and was showing my symptoms to them. He ended up prescribing all sorts of meds and said i had to take them for the rest of my life. No solution or recommendations offered, nothing. He was an unsure doctor who gave zero assistance just prescribed a bunch of meds "for life". I visited two additon

Had to call my insurance company to do a complain about him because he refused to give me an appointment and give me results of my EEG exam. His staff is very rude and never answers the phone. The medicine he prescribed me is not even helping with my headaches. He shows no interest at all.

My experience as a patient over the past several years has been excellent. Always on time, polite and very courteous, never hesitates to answer questions with full explanations. His experience has become invaluable, not only for myself as a patient but for the community as a whole. His medical associates refer patients without hesitation. His staff is equally knowledgeable and courteous.

Dr Gaitan I believe is a good doctor. His staff needs some classes on customer service though. It's sad that he tolerates their lack of hospitality. Maybe it's all about the bottom line. Overall, staffing needs an upgrade.

Very poor bedside manner. Staff makes a lot of mistakes. I went without medication for my disorder due to office staff error. There needs to be more options in Brownsville.

I recommend dr Gaitan because the way he tells the truth of the condition of the patient for me is a challenge to get better for the following or next visit with him ?? or at least maintain, The only thing that his staff needs is to smile, besides that, I think everything else it's casi perfecto
