Dr. Luther Mangoba, MD

First, you’ll never see the doctor. It’s a nurse practitioner if you’re lucky, sometimes interns. Their lack of knowledge means you’ll have many unanswered questions and not be alerted when things are serious. I had a massive ovarian cyst that they got on my results and never mentioned to me. Just told me to book an OBGYN. 2 months later the obgyn told me I had a life-threatening cyst that the office should have seen! They got MRI results for my shoulder and an intern read them to me. When I asked questions about next steps, she admitted she had no idea. I still dont know what to do about my shoulder. Most egregiously, I booked an emergency telehealth meeting bc I tore something in my knee. Her staff is so incompetent, when I called 4 days later, they hadn’t processed the referral I needed for an MRI. When they did - to the wrong doctor speciality! Then she sent it to the correct surgeon but it was the wrong code. 8 DAYS LATER I found out they don’t do MRIs!! Massive incompetence.

I am tired of going to this office - the office staff is 100% inept. I’ve requested documents and other things before and they haven’t sent them, but this time is beyond unacceptable. I had an emergency telehealth call with the NP this Monday because I need a referral for an MRI because I busted my knee and am in urgent pain. The office did zero follow up. I had to follow up myself today (4 days later) because they hadn’t sent me anything. Then what they sent me was to a spine (not orthopedic) surgeon. Then when I called AGAIN to get a new referral, they sent me to an orthopedic but gave the wrong code. They are complete idiots. Do NOT go here.

Love this office and all staff. Dr Mangoba and the Physicans Assistants are caring and patient. The office staff and nurses are very friendly and I would highly recommended them. Thanks for creating a welcoming environment, especially in healthcare!

This is by far the most well run Dr's office I've ever been to. All staff are caring, from the receptionist, to the medical assistants, to the Nurse Practitioner to the MD. Nothing gets forgotten, insurance authorizations are received in a timely manner, and the practitioner really listens to your concerns. I really feel like I am well cared for at Dr Mangoba's office. Appointments are easily made by cheerful staff, and the wait time is reasonable once there. I can't say enough good about them!
