Dr. Lynn Beauchamp, MD

I’ve never been made to feel more uncomfortable at a doctor’s appointment in my life. From the moment I walked into the room, Dr. Beauchamp absolutely no bedside manner, no patience, and made the entire experience feel rushed and impersonal. I was already feeling vulnerable, and instead of reassuring me or explaining what she was doing, she had me try to explain my symptoms while performing the Pap smear— without so much as an acknowledgment of my discomfort. The exam itself was incredibly quick—almost as if she couldn’t wait to be done. I told her that I’ve been feeling off since having my children and really wanted to have my hormones checked, but instead of taking my concerns seriously, she dismissed them and immediately suggested birth control pills as a blanket solution, not taking the time to explain or offer any other options.I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone who values empathy, care, or thorough attention to their health concerns.

I have seen her a handful of times and left each appointment feeling small and disrespected. I first saw her in my early twenties to have an iud insert and it was traumatic. She told me I would feel a slight pinch it was the most excruciating pain I had ever experienced. I really don’t think she actually cares for or likes women.

Dr. Beauchamp was amazing with my experience and addressed all my concerns and issues. I have seen her 3 times and have not had a bad experience with her. She is comes from a military background and is very 'to the point' which I appreciate. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Beauchamp was incredibly rude and dismissive. Her bedside manner is terrible, and she didn’t want to give me or my health the time of day. Please do not see this doctor.

Dr Beauchamp is everything these bad reviews say. It’s not just opinions at this point, it’s the doctor. She is very rude, dismissive, cold, uncaring, unwilling to discuss your concerns, lacks empathy, walks out of the room as you’re trying to talk, makes faces at you like you’re dumb, I could go on and on.. I have severe anxiety from almost passing during pregnancy and my son spent 3 months in the NICU and thankfully survived the odds he was given. She didn’t care about my experience or why my trauma made me want to be sterilized.. she was just ugly, hateful, and used terms like “stabbing” when discussing surgery. I’m a medical professional myself and I know she knows how to talk to patients properly, it’s very apparent that she just chooses not to. We have so many amazing doctors in the area, this is one of the WORST. I highly suggest avoiding!!!

I promise promise promise you can find a better doctor in the hsv/mad area. Believe the reviews - avoid this dr. She had very poor bed side manner. She is very dismissive of questions and often forgets who you are or why you’re there. It’s not worth it. Find someone else.

Dr. Beauchamp is one of the worst physicians I have ever seen. I saw her for a few weeks during my pregnancy and lost over 20 pounds and was telling her how depressed I was and she asked me “isnt this what you wanted?” I finally switched OB around 18 weeks and am finally receiving proper care and have been diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum… I brought up my concerns that I may have HG and she would always brush it off and say “well we will give it a few weeks and see how you are.” I progressively got sicker and now have a PICC line. My new OB was shocked that I haven’t been helped or given anything to treat the HG. Dr. Beauchamp told me to go to the OBER once because I was throwing up over 30 times a day and when the OBER physician prescribed Zofran she lectured me for taking it?? This lady is very cold, doesn’t seem to believe in depression, and definitely isn’t caring. She rushes through the appointments and does not make her patients a priority. Stay away if you want good care.

Saw her for a little bit during my first pregnancy, but got away from her as soon as possible. She acted like my questions were an inconvenience, and talked to me in a way that made me feel small. I understand that some questions may be irritating, but pregnancy, especially for a first time mom, is such a scary time, and should be treated with care and kindness, which I have found elsewhere. I ended up hearing from someone who had a bad complication because of a mistake made by Dr. Beauchamp, so it made me even more glad that I trusted my gut and made the decision to leave.

I saw. Dr. Beauchamp three times. The first time she was over an hour and a half late with no acknowledgment that I had been waiting that long. I was there to have my iud removed. She removed it without any warning and gave no after care instructions. The next two visits I had biopsies done. Again, no after care was given and she seemed to care more about my husbands “needs” than my well being. I asked if she was about to numb me, as I wanted to be prepared since the needle is going to a very sensitive spot. She replied in a very rude and “over it” tone “I’m trying to”. I also heard her talking about another patient, using first and last name and discussing her medical issue. I had to call to get after care instructions for my incision sites. Overall, she seemed very cold and annoyed that I had questions. I highly don’t recommend her. Definitely doesn’t seem like a woman’s woman after being more concerned with my husband than me, her patient.

After meeting her, I can’t believe i trusted her with my sons life. She does NOT listen and does not know the answers to your questions without googling it. I put up with it for so long, she degraded me for her last time. If I could say this 100x times over again, please I’m begging you please don’t trust this woman with your pregnancy. Choose someone else!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Beauchamp is an excellent physician who cares deeply about her patients. She spent countless hours over 6 months answering questions with my spouse and I pertaining to the birth of our daughter. I developed preeclampsia during pregnancy and had to be induced at 38 weeks. Even after a very long labor and delivery process, I had no doubt that Dr. Beauchamp had my best interests in mind. I safely delivered a healthy, beautiful baby girl in February of 2022, and we will be eternally grateful that Dr. Beauchamp was at the helm.

Terrible experience. You have much better options than this doctor in the Huntsville/Madison area - do your research and check reviews everywhere before deciding on an OBGYN. This woman needlessly put my grandson’s life at risk. You and your baby deserve better than the standard of care we received from this doctor.

She speaks in circles and does not really answer questions. I felt unsupported by this provider. She does not listen.

Fantastic Doctor who counsels with kindness and wanted nothing but the best for me and my baby. Highly recommend!
