Dr. Lynore Martinez, MD

From the start, their office staff communication has been weak. From incorrectly quoting the cost of self-pay, to what insurance they don’t take and now I can’t seem to get anyone to return a call and the portal does not send messages. I’ve been in person once, phone called 6 times and tried the portal 3 times. They aren’t recognizing the copay I paid at time of appointment. Now I’m being relentlessly bombarded with emails and text to pay that portion, I already paid the remainder. I am so sad that Dr. Ulbarri joined SF OBGYN, she’s fantastic but I will not go there as it is too complicated for staff to handle this simple issue.

Dr. Martinez was extremely professional yet understanding. Other doctors were dismissive of my chronic pain. But as soon as I explained my symptoms, Dr. Martinez offered me different treatments and thoroughly explained any side effects. I utimately settled on the surgical route that she recommended as the best for my situation. If not for her expertise, I would still be living in constant pain. I highly recommend her for any reproductive care.

She prescribed me a drug that was supposed to help me with endometrial hyperplasia that put me in extreme, excruciating pain that made me feel nauseous - I called them about the pain a couple of times and they told me to bear it, that it would go away. When the pain didn't go away, instead of talking to me about the next step, they just stopped returning my calls and dropped me as a patient. It felt horrible. I was later diagnosed by someone else with adenomyosis.

Very dissatisfied with this office. The rudeness from the office staff and unauthorized charges caused me to change Dr's in the third trimester because I questioned their ethics so much. I would not recommend.

Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere and excellent care.
