Dr. Lysa Curry, MD

As a cardiac patient at Methodist Texsan Hospital, much of my overall medical treatment was coordinated by Dr. Curry, the designated hospitalist. On each of the occasions that Dr. Curry visited with me, she exhibited an excellent bedside manner. Her explanations and instructions were crystal clear and sensible. In addition, she displayed a wonderful, personable attitude, indicative of a fundamental care for and respect of her patients. Also, her follow-up was exemplary, as proven on the day of my hospital release when, without being asked to speed up the process, she expedited the necessary discharge documentation, enabling me to go home only about a half-hour after her last visit to my hospital room. In summary, my feelings about that February 2020 hospital stay are very positive, thanks in large measure to the professionalism and compassion of Dr. Curry.

Dr Curry lacks the ability to provide adequate standard medical care. She is an uncaring woman who arrogantly practices medicine. With my husband, she allowed him to deteriorate until I finally forced the issue and had his cardiologist become involved. He immediately sent him to the icu at methodist. Dr. Curry refused to transfer my husband to a hospital of our choice, even though I would have paid for it and had a receiving physician. She does not need put practice medicine.
