Dr. Rakita and her office staff are wonderful! I have been a patient there for many years and through my ups and downs she and her staff are always there for me. I am in a great place in my life psychologically thanks to her. I like her very much!

Dr Gene Jacobs is not good whatsoever. He doesn’t seem to care. We have 2-3 minute long conversations after WEEKS of not talking, every step of my journey has been absolutely miserable, he undermines how I feel, and he seems to think he knows what he’s talking about, but he doesn’t. He may be a psychiatrist, but he lacks basic social skills. I am glad to say I will be ending our sessions as I have been seeing him for a little under a year, and I can say my journey has not gotten any easier. He doesn’t have a sympathetic bone is his body. Good luck to anyone who still has him, and remember you don’t have settle for mediocre care.

I have been a patient at Dr. Rakita's office for a little less than a year now and have been truly impressed in every way. I am actually a patient of Dr. Gene Jacobs, who just started seeing patients at this location this year. I feel very comfortable talking with him, being candid and honest, and I feel heard (unlike other psychiatrists I have seen) . I have been on medication for Adult ADHD for about ten years now and have seen a couple psychiatrists over the years and this is by far the best office I have visited. From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed, greeted, and incredibly comfortable. They are organized, I never wait longer than 3 minutes, and are incredibly cordial. Additionally, Alex, the office manager that sits at the front desk is phenomenal. He goes above and beyond the call of duty! I can always reach him, he even graciously gave me his cell phone number to reach out to him if I had any issues with filling my perscription! Easily 5 Stars in my book!

I have been a patient of Dr Rakita for some time but she was amazing before the covid crisis but she has been above an beyond that for me during this hard time an feel she should be recognized an the entire practice to be quite honest phenomenal . Dr Rakita your the best an your staff the gentleman out front don't let him go anywhere!!

I have been seeing Dr. Rakita for about 15 years. I love her because she listens, is straightforward & doesn’t overmedicate. She has helped me find the right med. regime which has improved my life tremendously! The office staff, Alex, I feel is just as important as seeing the doctor! He is excellent!! He is professional, always answers the phone or calls you back right away! He takes care of helping with refills, prior auth, & helps get you an appointment as soon as you need it!! I can’t say enough about the place!! So glad I go there!

This Doctor is not the one to go to if you suffer from mental health issues. She is rude. she speaks very disrespectful to her patients. she does not listen to their concerns and is just an all around nasty woman

Dr Rakita has been my doctor for close to 10 years which goes to show how thankful I am and how great a doctor she is. When I first started going to her, the meds I had been prescribed previously for a mood disorder weren't quite cutting it and she adjusted my meds multiple times over the course of monthly visits, always encouraging me, until I was at an even keel. Over the past 10 years, she has helped me through ups and downs with lots of advice, homework and suggestions, kindly and patiently.

I have been treated by Dr. Rakita for over twelve years. As someone with BiPolar 1 and anxiety, she has kept me out of trouble by stabilizing me with medications for my conditions. In the time of her care, I have had zero manic episodes, and the few times I have fallen into depression she has been able to stabilize me by changing my doses of the meds I take. I have the utmost trust in her and would feel quite comfortable recommending her to a friend or family member if they needed care.

I have been her patient for years. She has helped me tremendously. I have come a long way in accepting mental illness. She gives me the appropriate meds and blood tests. She is a brilliant psychiatrist and has a great deal of compassion for all.

She needs to retire...will throw medications at you. Always follow up with your primary/pharmacist before taking medication that she prescribes. She comes off as Insensitive, but that maybe her accent that you have to try to figure out what she is saying. She made me cry my first visit!!!!

I was seeing Dr Rakita for the last three years and am very satisfied with her services. I have tried a few doctors before and can say that Dr Rakita is the best out of them. She listens to the patient, she finds the best treatment for you. She applies holistic approach to a treatment. She will accommodate a request for an appointment on quite a short notice. Most appointments are on time, unlike in some other offices. Her staff is courteous and helpful. I recommend Dr Rakita to other patients.

Over medicated me, then when I was hospitalized (somewhat as a result) she told the hospital that she wasn't accepting me as a patient anymore. I would give her less than one star if I could.
