PLEASE DO NOT SEE HER IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE...
Dr. Tavrovsky incorrectly dated a lab test order preventing me from getting it done when I arrived. She never told me I was diabetic as shown by my physical's test results she performed. I was feeling terrible for months after. As I did not trust her or Emory I sought out a new doctor. My new doctor performed a physical 9 months after Tavrovsky did. My new doctor asked for my previous physical test results to compare and asked me if I was told I was diabetic from my previous doctor ( Tavrovsky ). I looked at her funny. I told her Tavrovsky never mentioned it or prescribed any medication, my new doctor was in shock. My new doctor put me on medication and all of my symptoms went away. HOW DO YOU NOT TELL SOMEONE THEY ARE DIABETIC AND PUT THEM ON MEDICATION THEY DESPERATELY NEED. DIABETES IS NOT A DISEASE TO TAKE LIGHTLTY. I looked into suing her over this. ...IF YOU LOVE YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY AVOID HER...SHE MIGHT HARM YOU THROUGH NEGLIGENCE.

Very thorough! First doctor I have ever had that was 1) concerned about the costs of various treatments and 2) recognized that the financial burden of medical care is a big stressor especially to the chronically ill. I have had 6 primary care docs in the last 10 years - only the second one that knew about a rare genetic order I suffer from.
