Don’t waste your time - or further endanger your relatives. Communication in only through text with his office manager - like WTAF?Does not answer questions or offer information. Prescribed inappropriate meds and did not order basic tests. Incorrectly called the most recent EEG “normal”. How do I know all this? The neurologist I switched to out of desperation told me. He also told me he gets a lot of this doctor’s former patients.

Dr. Katerji has always been extremely knowledgeable, patient, gracious and to the point. My son has Autism and started having Grand Mal Seizures 5 years ago at the age of 14. When my son had his first seizure, it happened right before "a once in a life time trip" that we had planned for many years. If it were not for Dr. Katerji taking the time to reassurance that things would be alright with proper planning and a back plan, we would have cancel it all. We are forever indebted to him for that and the great care he continuously gives. Also, as a teacher of 20+ years, I am not always the easiest of hovering moms to deal with. I tend to go over board with a million and one questions and he always listens and has a prompt plan of action. His secretary has also been great with helping us deal with insurance headaches too.

My daughter was 4 months old when she started having seizures. We were at ER the day before our initial appt with him. The office staff was helpful in getting us information needed to get to the right hospital. He met us there. The minute she started medication, seizures stopped and she saw him for the next 18 months. During office visits he was fun, kind, helpful, and real with us. We loved seeing him!! Now another daughter is having neurological issues; we feel confident going back.

I would never recommend Dr. Katerji to anybody even if their life depended on it. This Doctor has never returned a single phone call. My daughter was in the ER and we needed to reach him. We left messages, but he never called back. Also, he never calls back whenever you call him. My daughter also ran out of medication, we left messages, but he never called us. We were forced to change doctors!

We were SO very pleasantly surprised with Dr. Katerji! Our daughter is on the autism spectrum and he asked us what she likes to play with, we told him Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is her life, and while examining her he opened up his old school doctor bag and pulled out Mickey Mouse toys! My daughter loved it - she usually has such a hard time with new people! He answered all our questions, and really gave us a lot of information, and we look forward to working with him in the future!

After two days of phones calls, I finally spoke with someone to be told this doctor will not see my daughter because she missed an appointment back in October (car accident, sorry you were not the first person that came to mind). For a doctor to turn away a child that's having head aches to the point of getting dizzy shows a lot. Your receptionist saying "sorry there's nothing we can do" isn't enough. In the end, I'm glad my daughter will not be seen by you.

Dr Katerji has been great, it's unfortunate that his staff and the inability of answering/returning calls and noting proper appointments is what chases people away from him. The staff at Evergreen couldn't even read his appt schedule and the "answering service" for appts has yet to return my calls (but willing to call my husband back and not me). I know the loss of one patient/visit means nothing to you all at this point but it was about the care of my 4-yr old.

Worst answering service. Very very difficult to get in touch with anyone at office to clarify any questions regarding medications or tests or anything. The office staff really need to be more accesible.

Trying to make an appointment is impossible. No one answers the phone, so you leave a message. When they call you back, they leave a message. The message is to call them back. It's been four days now and I still haven't been able to schedule an appointment. There has to be an easier way!
