Doctor thinks he is a psychologist
I was a patient at St. V's and my original doctor left the practice and he was designated as my new doctor. This was, of course, back in 2019. I came in for an annual physical. He introduced himself and asked about me. I made the mistake of having a conversation about my current divorce. A very short conversation. When I later received a bill It included psychiatric counseling as well as the annual visit cost. I contacted the office to dispute and indicated that this was not the reason for my visit and I was merely just giving the doctor some feedback about me. They refused to do anything to correct this overcharge. I escalated this to my healthcare provider. Upon review of this doctors credentials, I was told that he does not hold a license to qualify this type of treatment, and charge was invalid. When I went back to the office to discuss this, I was told that the bill stood and 'I should consider a different provider in the future'. Horrible staff & Doctor.

Neve again
I had to do bloodwork for school, we ran titers to see what I was already immune to and what I needed. On the paperwork, two weeks prior he acknowledged I was immune to chicken pox. I have an autoimmune disease and am immuno compromised. He administered the chicken pox vaccine even though I was already immune. This was an unnecessary live vaccine and doing so put me at great risk. I only found out after I had to ask for the paperwork back. He acknowledged my immunity two weeks prior. Worst doctor I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and steer clear.

Never seen a worse doctor – Aug 22, 2024

worst dr ever.
This guy is absolute trash. First off I don't think he can even understand English. I would have to repeat the same thing multiple times and he still couldn't understand. He yells at you if you do your own research. He refuses to do blood tests. The guy told me it was ok to eat before a blood test then told me I had a high glucose level and need to watch my diet or I would get diabetes. Of course I had a high glucose level you fool, I told you I had ice cream and sandwich before coming in, for a non physical appt. Guy told me Lyme disease is no big deal. He also claimed he had my parents as patients even though I know that to be wrong. Continuously forgets who you are and confuses you with other patients. Tells me he has no clue how to contact my other specialists who I see regularly yet he is always sending them information and claims they don't send back. horrible bedside manner. Rude. I reported him to the state I hope he is fired and fined

I’ve never had an appointment start on time. His ‘record’ was 90 minutes late. More that once. That includes an appointment that was his FIRST for the day. He was 40 minutes late for that, and he was in the building; I know he was there because I heard him shout for the nurse to come help him, with a tone that sounded like he was a child calling for his baby sitter. As you'll see on many review sites, he is mechanical, rushed, doesn’t listen, and frequently rude. You really have to push to get a word in edge-wise. He is dismissive when he does listen. He seems to lack social awareness in a profound, and general, way. It is Exceptionally difficult to get him to do his job when it comes to sending in test. We discovered that my vitamin D was *exceptionally* low. Despite repeatedly asking, I’ve not once had him send in a follow up test for vitamin D levels. I could enumerate the many other ways ‘working’ with him has been to my detriment, but I find it too infuriating to continue.

Not Particularly Attentive as PCP
I have had several visits with Dr. Corpuz after selecting him as my PCP in 2021. Each visit except the last was general in nature. It seems he runs down a checklist of what he wants to ask and he is not well skilled at listening to the patient. In my last visit I explained some health issues I was experiencing and I felt that he was rushed and barely listened. I expected he would order some blood work and he did not. He said I should see a specialist, however the first person I was referred to had no availability for a new patient. Perhaps a little help on his part would have expedited matters. I contacted his office and after some insistence had another referral processed. Again, no urgency from the doctor. It seemed as if it was all up to me to find someone. I have never experienced this in my past having always been helped by my PCP in obtaining specialist care. My recommendation is to find a different doctor than Dr. Corpuz.

I can see where some people may not like his manner. But if you pay attention you realize he's not wasting any words, is worth listening to, and he has a quick wit. But if you have an issue just speak up!

Dr Corpuz is very thorough in his examination of his patients; he makes sure to ask about medical history; and answers any questions you may have. My whole family sees Dr Corpuz because he is knowledgeable and compassionate about his work.

I scheduled an appointment online. Symptoms were finger numbness after touching something cold and turning fingers turning purple. I get a call 1/2 hr before the appointment that he said (or so his staff claims) that I should go to a (and I quote) "Critical care center." Yep, in the middle of a global pandemic, this doctors office is suggesting that I go to a "critical care center" with COVID patients because of my finger numbness when I touch something cold. CLEARLY he or his staff simply does not care. I am SHOCKED that a medical facility would suggest such actions during this time. AVOID this practice at all costs!

Average wait time listed is 10-15 minutes, no where close. In my experience going to him for multiple years now 20-30 is being generous. That will get you into the exam room. once in there you can wait an addition 20+ minutes. Dr Corpuz is very knowledgeable and will listen to your concerns but tends to harp on certain subjects, such as weight, even when it has nothing to do with current problems. I would recommend him if you have the time to wait because like I said he is very knowledgeable. But if you don't have an extra hour or two to waste when you go to the doctor then do not go to him.

By far my favorite Dr. In 15 years! I've had many many Drs in 3 different states. He listens and truly cares. I am alive due to his hard work and diligence. I whole heartily can not say enough, he brightens my day every time I come in, and his hard work never let's me down. If your looking to not just be a name or number on a piece of paper then look no further. He is the #1 Doctor on the east coast i.m.o, you wont be disappointed!

Although I did not see this doctor personally, he treated my grandfather. He falsely diagnosed my grandfathers broken ribs as "just bruises" and sent him home. When other problems arose with my grandfathers health, he refused to prescribe him the pain medication he needed. The man was extremely unorganized and seemingly knew nothing about my grandfather when he came in. He was also extremely rude to my family and caused my entire extended family a great deal of anguish. Would not recommend him.

I honestly had one of the best experiences at a doctors office in my life. The PA and Dr. Corpuz were very thorough with my exam and were very proactive for my health. I have tried looking around for a Pcp but was never satisfied with the care. Dr. Corpuz is an excellent physician!

The man does nothing for his patients. He has memory lapses and will tell you about another patient he has who suffers from the same thing as you. You realize he's talking about you. A guy this young shouldn't be showing signs of dementia. He should not be allowed to practice medicine. His license should be suspended.
