Quick, Understanding, knowledgeable
She is a great doctor who REALLY cares about her patients. She is very down to earth and understanding. She listens to the patients concerns very well. Recently, I (75 yrs) had my medication left just for 1 day. This medication was usually prescribed by my Neurologist. I contacted my Neurologist so many times but they either didn't refill my medication nor setup an appointment. I was getting stressed out as I had my medication left only for 1 day. I tried to call Madhavi that evening at 6:30pm. She quickly responded and placed a medication refill for 2 months. Later, I setup an appointment with her. This is what means caring for patients lives. Thankyou Madhavi for your quick response. Another time was when I was admitted at St.Barnebas Hosp as emergency for having sudden seizures. Within few hours she came in person to the hospital, checked the status and contacted other doctors too regarding the progress. She took lot of care. Thankyou once again Madhavi for your continuous support.

Dr. Pentyala has been my doctor for almost ten years. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is knowledgeable, caring, thorough, efficient, warm and, as I came to find out, highly respected by other medical professionals.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pentyala for several years. She is a great physician who really cares about her patients. She recently saved my life when I was suffering with COVID-19. She got me emergency treatment at St. Barnabas in the form of a monoclonal antibody infusion. I bounced right back and I’m doing great. I will never forget her dedication. Many, many thanks!

I have been a patient of Dr. Pentyala for the passed four years. During this time I continue to be amazed at how knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate she is. My husband recently conceded to "trying" her and knowing he is leery of changing doctors, I wasn't sure how he was going to feel. He loves her as well. He has several health issues and while sitting in on his initial appointment, I could see how trusting of her he was. Dr. Pentyala discussed in detail each issue and followed through with his cardiologist and endocrinologist. There are times when the office is busy and there is a wait. But I know that Dr. Pentyala gives the same attention to all her patients, so I bring a book and wait my turn.

Today was our first time with Dr. Pentyala. What a breath of fresh air!!!!! She is not only highly knowledgeable, professional and organized, but she is also very warm, lovely, attentive and patient. She actually listens to her patients, instilling sense of security and trust in doctor/patient relationships. In this era of rush and impersonal, it is a gift to those who encounter Dr. Pentyala. We are blessed to have found one of the best PPC. We are grateful to her, as well as to her wonderful office staff.

After reading the reviews I was skeptical, in any case I saw Dr. Pentyala Feb 11th, 2020 and found out most of the reviews did not paint the correct picture. Her Office was clean and organised including her staff. She seemed to be very professional and spent a lot of time with me and heard me very carefully and gave me a thorough professional examination. She understood my condition and recommended appropriate tests for further evaluation. This was my first visit and hope that she attends to me the same way on my future visits, spending enough time to assess my progress. I would not hesitate referring her to my friends and family.

The doctor is great. Extremely knowledgeable. However shes taken on a lot (too many)of patients! She def needs more office help. And yes the secretary never returns any messages so be prepared. The wait time depends on the day. But it's usually long.Wish she had a nurse working there to take blood work.

This office is horrible when it comes to scheduling and their service is disgusting. They never call you to make a schedule they accept you to Google when you are due for an appointment. As if it's my job to let an Dr office know when I should be due for an appointment. Also their receptionist along with the Doctors must always be on their cycle because they do not know how to speak to people. If you find yourself here please be prepared to not be helped and left to do for yourself.

Unfortunately, I've had a lot of experience with doctors and not all of it great. I have to say, Dr. Pentyala is far and above one of the best. No frilly office or pretentious assistants - it's usually just her and her office assistant and once in a while a student or two. She is kind, non judgmental, well informed and practical. She listened to my concerns (always) and didn't dismiss me when I had an out of the norm thought around my treatment. She is honestly just wonderful.

Dr. Pentyala is inconsiderate of patient's time and does not apologize for being late. The wait time is always an hour later with appointments made ahead of time. The doctor does not return calls when messages are left on the answering machine or with the secretary.

Due to her office staff, I cannot recommend Dr. Pentyala, even though I liked her style. I was called in to review blood work, which she had requested. When I arrived I was told it would be over an hour wait. I rescheduled. When I went back to the office for the new appointment, the doors were locked. I waited over an hour in the hall ... no one ever arrived. I left 2 phone messages, requesting the doctor phone me back. That was almost 2 weeks ago and still no one has phoned ...
