Dr. Madhuri Chilakapati, MD

I would like to highly recommend Dr. Chilakapati. My son has a lot of anxiety when he sees doctors and she immediately set him at ease. She took the time to answer all my questions in detail and very patiently. She is compassionate and thorough. One of the best experiences with a physician we have had. Highly recommended!!

Dr Chilakapati is a conscientious, kind, skilled and ethical doctor. My daughter was so frightened when she took my little grandson to see Dr C with a crossed eye. Even though he was too young to read the chart, she was able to determine one eye disnt see well. She found out that he needed glasses also. Dr C prescribed patching, glasses, and eventually he needed surgery. Today he is old enough to cooperate for the exam and he has perfect vision and straight eyes! Thank you Dr C!!!

Dr. Chilakapati has taken care of two of my children and they feel very comfortable with her. She has always explained our options for treatment well, included us in the decision making process, and I feel peace of mind in knowing she is considering what is best for each of my kids' situations. She and her staff have also been very accessible.

Dr. Chilakapati has been my ophthalmologist for the past 5 years and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her. She is an excellent doctor, and picked up an uncommon disorder that many of my other doctors had missed. She is kind, compassionate and runs on time. I have recommended her to many of my friends and I get good reviews back from them as well.

I wouldn't recommend no one to claim her as they're doctor. my son is only 8months and she did the wrong procedure on his eye . The day before his surgery we went over everything that was going to be done . To me she wanted to do what she wanted to . She cut him in the wrong part of his eye and kept telling me that it was going to be fine and that he won't be in any pain . She then offered her personal phone number if I needed anything to call her .I feel like this situation is being overlooked.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Chilakapati since she was 8 weeks old. She has extreme infantile esotropia. She has had two surgeries so far and might need a third. My daughter loves her still after 3 years of seeing Doc on a regular basis. We have seen vast improvements in her eyes. We got second opinions from other doctors who all agreed with Dr. Chilakapati and these other doctors all spoke highly of her. We highly recommend Dr. Chilakapati and Gina. Her staff is great.

She was rude and condescending. She was very arrogant and did not listen to the past history of our children. She was derogetory of every other doctor we have ever used. The cost and billing was REDICULOUS and inaccurate.

Both of my kids wear glasses and they love going to see Dr Chilakapati. My daughter is seven and says she want to be an eye doctor when she grows up, yea!

She is an AMAZING doctor! Her bedside manner is like no other. My children feel such at ease with her and actually enjoy going to see her! She and her staff are always willing to work with me and my busy schedule and fit me in. Dr. C is the best!!

Dr. Chilakapati and her staff took excellent care of my 13 year old daughter. She was kind and caring and made both myself and my daughter comfortable with the examination. She did an excellent job including my daughter in the explanation of the results. I would definitely recommend family and friends to Dr. Chilakapati's office. It is obvious she cares and that loves what she does.

Dr. Chilakapati was great with my 5 year old for her first eye exam! We wanted to do a pre-screen before she started kindergarten. My child is not the best patient but she was great working with her to get her through the exam and explained everything thoroughly.
