She's the meanest hospitalist I've ever encountere
Iv been coming to AAMC for almost 20 years battling metastatic breast cancer and Ive never been treated so rudely in my life. I don't know how to stop getting her as my hospitalist, I'm admitted a lot. She actually pulled down her mask got in my facebin a very mean manner because I wouldn't let her aspirate my knee for fear of infection my oncologist won't treat my cancer with an infection She's threatened me, tried so hard to get me out of the hospital even after physical therapy stated that I was in no shape to leave So she call a rehab center to come get me. I told her my knee was so bad that I couldn't even get up my stairs at home. She was putting me in a facility that didn't have a rheumatologist and couldn't help me This hospital doesn't have a rheumatologist wants to send me home. I told her I need IV steroids to get the swelling down until I could get the proper help. Went to University of Maryland and they treated me immediately. Run away from her.

Dr Laiq is not the hospitalist you want
Agree with the other poor reviews. I am a medical professional and I found her dismissive and condescending. Her attitude exudes a “ just let me get through my rounds.”We moved from NJ and the experience at Anne Arundel Hospital confirmed what we have heard. The hospital reputation since Lumminus took over has severely deteriorated. The nurses were wonderful but they expressed frustration with the system

According to my husband she was short tempered didnt seem to care. My question is why she took him off of BP meds as his bp has been 171 over 100 since she did that. Also referred him to cardiac group for 1-2 weeks but gave no referral so they wouldnt see him even though he has a ppo. I absolutely despise this hospital and will spread the news.

Talks AT you rather then TO you
Lacks compassion or bedside manner when talking to patients and family members. Will talk AT you rather than TO you. Is only interested in getting across what she has to say to you - which seems to be based on her brief review of records. When given relevant information by caregiver or family members that isn't in the medical record, she will ignore. Is rigid in her decisions. Is also abrupt and will cut you off if she thinks she knows what you're going to say. After finishing her speech, she provides no detail or education on issue. Her only redeeming quality is that she can prioritize and will consult others in various disiplines if need be. This is not a isolated incident as this review is based upon multiple interactions. I would avoid her as a physician.

No compassion, and biased without meeting the patient. No personal care video com appointment s only. We live in California she is in Virginia. No way to take care pf patients with no personal or hands on care.
