I've been going to an Endocrinologist since 1999. Been through 2 brain surgeries and radiation. I received to much radiation it killed my pituitary gland. I have to take growth hormone injections also on 22 different medications. My primary doctor put a referral in May 5/19 to see a new endocrinologist because Dr. Azar is leaving her practice. I never received a call. I called today 6/7/19 to check the status, well let's just say I was flabbergasted by what the doctor said " I Don't Need An Endocrinologist " WHAT I would leave OU all together but I really like my primary doctor. I just can't believe a doctor would say something like this. Now I know why she's resigning

I like that when I met her she didn't assume I knew nothing. She listened to me and my concerns then explained what she thought was the proper course of action. Very prompt to follow up.
