Dr. Maher Gobran, MD

I was diagnosed with DCIS stage zero, and kept looking for a surgeon who can see me immediately and perform lumpectomy asap. God is great, I found Dr Maher Gobran, who saw me in a week and did the surgery a week later. He is such a wonderful person, very professional, respectful, caring, very distinguished, with an amazing smile comforting and listening and explaining everything very well. I was content and trusted him fully. He did an amazing job, always in time. Front office personal are wonderful.I thank God, He brought me to his care.

Dr. Gobran was my previous doctor from Kaiser. The day that I had my appointment with him I did not realize that I had breast cancer. When he explained to me that I had cancer, I was scared, nervous and had a lot of questions. He was absolutely amazing and took his time to explain everything to me. Years later, I still remember the care I received from him and will be forever thankful.

Dr. Gobran is an excellent surgeon. The only people leaving bad reviews are bad patients. Dr. Gobran is very warm hearted and caring. He's a big perfectionist and he always goes above and beyond to provide his patients with the best service possible. Would definitely recommend.

Everyone is saying Dr. Gobran has a great side manner no that is not the case he treated my young daughter with so much disrespect prior to her surgery I mean minutes prior to going in and she was anxious and tried to talk her out of going in due to her insurance?He had the anesthesiologist waiting nurses waiting and then proceeded to argue with how the anesthesiologist wanted to approach how she would be sedated the nurses felt so sorry for my daughter she was so upset. He then did not sedate her and she felt him cutting into her flesh she was literally vomiting during the surgical procedure because she was in so much pain. To make it worse I could not be with her due to the COVID 19 regulations. I would like to say St Joseph is awesome but Dr. Gobran should be held accountable these other reviews do not tell the true story of how he treats his patients. BE AWARE!!!!

Dr. Gobran is awesome; there are not enough stars to express how satisfied I am with him! I was diagnosed with breast cancer late 2018 and was referred to him for surgery. My first visit he sat down with us and explained everything about what was happening; he was very kind and compassionate without being condescending. His surgical skills are so good that my radiation therapist couldn't find my lumpectomy scars!! He has the best bedside manner of any surgeon I have met. I would highly recommend him for any surgery and would not hesitate to have him operate on me again.

I was referred to Dr.Gobran by my beloved Gynecologist. Dr.Ramirez-Boyd for Breast Calcification Biopsy at St.Joseph Hospital in June 2018. Dr.Govran had gone out of his way to ensure that my Uterine Biopsy with Dr.Cappuccini could be scheduled right before he started his surgery on the same date (yes, one biopsy done and another started( I was well cared for by Dr.Gobran before, during and after the surgery, which minimal scaring. I strongly recommend Dr. Gobran.

Oh how I love this doctor. Never in my life have I received such incredible care from a doctor. I was referred to Dr. Gobran two years ago for melanoma surgery. I will say that I was quite anxious about all that had to be done, but Dr. Gobran assured me in the kindest way that he would take care of me all through the process, and he did. My surgery involved a large resection of my arm, and after he was done with his part, he stayed to help my plastic surgeon finish her part. Even after the surgery he was there to make sure that I was alright and my husband was alright too. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Gobran to everyone always. What a gift you are Dr. Gobran to so many, thank you. P.S. there aren't enough stars to rate just how wonderful Dr. Gobran really is! ! !

Dr. Frontman was a fantastic surgeon. He's very friendly, has a great bedside manner and exudes the confidence you hope to see when going under the knife. Would recommend him highly to anyone seeking a quality general surgeon.

Dr. Gobran did my surgery a week ago. He gave me the best care possible. He made sure I understood everything. I still remember the first time I met with him. Dr. Gobran impressed me with his excellent bedside manner. I am a nurse myself and Dr. Gobran is the type of physician that would take the time to alleviate any worries that a patient might have. My surgery went very well with very little post op pain. Thank you Dr. Gobran for a job well done.
