Dr. Mahkameh Ghadimi, MD

Although Dr. Ghadimi has a good in person manner, my last visit with her made it clear to me that she makes poor decisions and sees patients as numbers. It’s a very long story, but the bottom line is that she prescribed me a weight loss medication on 12/27/21 via telemed visit which required a follow up on 1/24/22 to check weight abs blood pressure prior to refill. I saw a nurse who took both stats - down 10 pounds on my scale and 2-3 on the clinic’s because the last time I was weighed there was in 6/2021, blood pressure good. 1/27 1 of the 2 weight meds was denied and I was referred to a bariatric clinic. No discussion, no nothing. Just denial and referral. When I asked via email what was going on and provided the facts of my progress, I was denied again despite this medication being one that says to never go off of it “cold turkey” and told to schedule my appt to have better success. Again, no discussion, no critical thinking, nothing. Totally nonsensical, lazy, and disheartening.

She has been my Daughter and Son and My Doctor for about 4 years. She recently moved to another Medical Facility. This is sad for us because she is an excelent Doctor, with a great personality and demeanor. For those two people above this comment to say that she did not "pamper them" then they should maybe try to find that extra eye contact or tenderness from a Psychiatrist.

I have been her patient for 4 years. She is a very good doctor, she listens well, asks questions and explains everything thoroughly. She is also very reassuring and calming in situations that require it. She takes her time and does not rush her appointments, I'm very happy as a patient of Dr Ghadimi.

Dr Ghadimibwas my primary for about 2 years and I saw her many times over that period. I liked that she was practical and conservative.

my very first time with her, and last one for sure, she does not look at you when you are talking to her, I feel she didn't care about my situation, practically I told her what was wrong with me, after keeping me in the room for 2 hours, she come back and said to me, you wore rite! is so sad, she acting like she was doing it for free. it took her 5 days to send my prescription to my pharmacy. thank God I was able to keep going with out her prescription, I Am very descanted with Dr. Ghadimi I am still weighting for her referral Hilda Aurora co 09/11/2019

Dr. Ghadimi is very soft spoken and, yes, does want to get all the information into the computer. My first visit with her I thought, because of her soft spoken ness, that she was thorough, but that she was placating me. My second visit I realized that my assessment was totally wrong. She really does care, asks many questions and takes the time to answer even when I have many questions. She also gets things like referrals done super fast. I feel so, so lucky that she is my doctor!

She has no warmth. She constantly has her eyes on her laptop. She doesn't smile and just generally gives the impression that she'd rather be anywhere else than helping me. She either didn't hear or didn't respond to some questions. She gave the feeling that she was always in a rush so I knew I had to be fast which caused stress. She by far made visits the worst experiences I've ever had with a physician.

My young adult son sees Dr. Ghadimi. As a retired R.N., I want to tell you how impressed I have been with this doctor. She is very knowledgeable and thorough, as well as being very caring. Dr. Ghadimi is one of the best physicians I've come across in many years.

She does very detailed and thorough checkups and explains things clearly. Very friendly.
