Solid, knowledgeable. Friendly
Dr. Kahn is very knowledgeable and gives great advice on how to get/stay healthy. He stays on top of my blood work and is very picky about keeping my results in check. Offers excellent tips on diet and exercise. His extensive experience allows him to focus on the things that are important and what things aren’t a big deal. He and his staff have always been VERY friendly and professional. He is also the FAA approved doctor that gives and approves the flight physicals for me and other engineers at Raytheon.

Great experience. My mom has been Dr. Khan's patient for 3 and a half years. She has been treated for hypertension, and Benign Positional Vertigo(BPV) since 2018. She had uncontrolled blood pressure and her BPV was way worse back in 2018. Thanks to Dr. Khan's careful treatment plan, her blood pressure is under control now. My mom used to experience the BPV at least once a year, but Dr. Khan's treatment has improved her vertigo and it's been more than a year she has not experienced any vertigo. My mom is satisfied with Dr. Khan's treatment. After observing my mom's incredible health improvement due to Dr. Khan's excellent treatment, I have also decided to seek his medical advice regarding my health issues. Dr. Khan listens carefully to his patient's chief complaints and in my opinion, he is the best internist in Plano, Texas. I would highly recommend Dr. Khan to anyone looking for a great PCP.

An alarming new diagnosis was noted on my Visit Summary 2 days after my last visit. Since the condition was never mentioned during visit, I called to inquire & was told in order to have it removed from my medical records, I would need to see a cardiologist. This dx was made w/o any tests, or even discussion. I was also told it may have been added "for insurance purposes". I found that odd since I had never been treated for the supposed condition. When I asked if I needed to get a referral to see a cardiologist, I was told I could come in to discuss w/ dr. even tho I had been there 3 days earlier. When I balked at having to make another appt. so soon (& another ins. claim), I was told they'd discuss w/ dr. & get back to me next day. When they didn't, I called the following day & was again told I'd need to come in (but they wouldn't charge my ins. "this time"). When I said (huffily, I admit) "FINE", I was told they didn't appreciate my attitude & I could either come in or get another dr.

Dr. Khan is a wonderful doctor and a caring man. He has been our family doctor for over 20 years and has always gone above what we previously expected from a doctor. His staff is efficient, while still providing a warm, safe environment. Dr. Khan takes the time to listen and get to know you and the issues you are dealing with.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Khan's since 2001. I have never had a more caring doctor. He takes the time to listen and doesn't try to hustle you out the door. He even came to see me when I was in the hospital on a holiday. I love this man and his staff. As does my entire family.

Dr. Khan has been my primary and FAA doctor for about 15 yrs. I trust him completely. I know that he always tries to approach any sickness or disease with a homeopathic approach before prescribing meds. He is not quick to prescribe unnecessary medicine, unless it is truly needed. He has outstanding bedside manners. He will always follow up with a call from him personally or from his staff to track your progress. Best of all, you can count on being seen at your scheduled appointment time.

I'm a diabetic. The doctor wanted to see me in 5 weeks for a checkup. I explained to him and to his staff that I was starting a new job, and would be in training, M-F for 8 weeks. I ran out of insulin during training, and scheduled to see him in about a week. Because he wouldn't sign off on the medical necessity requirement of the insulin I've been using for about 6 years, I paid $300 for 12 days worth, when I should pay $15 for a month. I spoke to his staff twice getting this resolved.
