Disappointing Experience with Dr. Awad’s Practice:
I am writing to share my disappointing experience with Dr. Awad and his practice. Over the past few months, I've encountered significant issues with communication and prescription management that have caused me considerable frustration and concern.Initially, Dr. Awad diagnosed me with acid reflux and prescribed omeprazole. Unfortunately, I experienced side effects that are uncommon, affecting only 2-3% of patients. Dr. Awad then prescribed famotidine for a two-week trial, but the prescription expired, and he did not follow up as expected. I had to reach out to the office, and it took a few days to get a response, leaving me without medication in the meantime.This wasn't an isolated incident. When I first started omeprazole, the refill wasn’t renewed in a timely manner. Furthermore, Dr. Awad often communicated through other staff members rather than directly with me, which added to the confusion and delays.I was initially supposed to see Dr. Awad after the first consultation at th
