Dr. Malika George, MD

I took my dad to Dr George several years ago before he passed away. He had a lot of health issues and was even turned away by other healthcare providers because he was a lot to handle. Not for Dr George though! She had so much compassion and patience with my dad. My dad, suffering from dementia, would (for some reason) place his foot/feet on her legs/lap. He would be in his wheelchair and she was on her little wheeled chair. Rather than get short with him she took it all in stride. She had such a wonderful rapport with him and wasn’t afraid to display her quick wit and pleasant sense of humor. My dad was her patient for about a year or so before I chose hospice care at home for him for the final six months of his life. I’ll never forget Dr George. My memories of her and her staff are fond ones.

We love Dr George. She is thorough clear and compassionate. Her staff is great. We continue to travel to see her even though we have relocated because if her skill and level headed approach to adult care needs. She involved the patient in discussing care options. A truly special practitioner.

Dr George has been my doctor for a few years now and I'm very satisfied. She is very good about explaining things so you can understand her..She is trying hard to getting my diabetes under control.

Dr. George is great. She listens when you talk to her and never is rushed.

Dr. George has been my doctor for over 7 yrs. I now have her seeing my husband as well. I just love her. I am very picky about my choice of doctors. She is not only knowledgeable but has a wonderful personality. Office staff is helpful and friendly. I couldn't have chosen a better PCP. As seniors, my husband and I have multiple medical issues. Dr George takes very good care of us.

We have been with Dr. George for almost 9 years. She is fantastic. She listens to her patients and is very honest with the information she gives her patients. Never have any problems with medication refills or getting in on short notice.

Dr George has been a pleasure to work with. She is professional, knowledgeable, and willing to get sick patients in on short notice.

Insists that I see her every six months in order to renew my prescriptions, but even though I do that all of my prescriptions always come through with no refills and the pharmacy has to continue to call every single time I need a refill and she is not quick to refill they have to call her several times to get it done

Doctors okay but receptionist is rude and nasty and doesn't say good afternoon. She's not a people person she belongs in the back

When making my initial appointment, I was a little upset that they couldn't get me in for 6 weeks. However, the person that answered the phone assured me that if they had a cancellation, they would call me. Sure enough, 5 days later Jamelis called me and I was able to be seen. Honestly, after going to Dr. George even if I had to wait, she is well worth the wait. She was patient, took the time to ask me my symptoms and even offered a specialist for me. Dr George is not only an excellent physician, but a compassionate human being. My search for a family physician is over. Oh, and she has a beautiful sense of humor too!!
