Dr. Malini Mehta, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Malini Mehta for almost a decade, and she’s been an incredible support in managing my health. She thoroughly checks for all symptoms, prescribes medications promptly, and is very responsive—always replying to emails within a day. It’s rare to find someone who listens so well and genuinely cares. I always feel confident in her care and truly in good hands.

I started with Dr. Mehta 17 years ago and from the first visit I was treated with care and compassion and expertise medical care. Due to Medical Insurance dictating my primary care choices, I needed to see another provider for a few years, and it wasn't the same.Fortunately, I am now back seeing Dr. Mehta for the past 5 years and once again I feel she is a Great Physician who shows care as well as keeps up on updated medical trends and still keeps her values of treating her patients with respect.

I was notified my doctor had retired and it would be over 2 months for the soonest appointment to see a new primary doctor. When trying to refill my medications that my retired doctor had commonly prescribed, I was told the on staff doctor mehta would not refill and that I needed to come in. I set up an appointment and went and seen doctor mehta. During the whole visit mehta talked about how bad a certain medication I was perscribed was for me even though I wasnt the one to perscribe this. First she claimed the medication causes alzheimer's disease. Granted she didnt say a thing about another medication I was on that can also cause alzheimers. Then she tried saying I didnt need a refill and tried to switch up my meds during this temporary visit. Then to add insult to injury she asked for a urine drug test. This doctor during the whole visit made me extremely uncomfortable and I will not be seeing her again. I would take this doctors medical advice with a grain of salt.

I have a complex and rare GI condition. Dr. Mehta is one of the best physicians I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and I do not say that lightly. She is compassionate and extremely bright. She puts her patients first and is willing to listen and learn. She takes on more than most primary care doctors are willing to and is constantly trying to better herself as a medical practitioner. She's very busy, but that is do to the hurried productivity Aurora imposes on their practitioners.

Knowledgeable, involved me in the decision making, spent a lot of time getting to know my history and goals.
