Very Dismissive
I was seeing Dr. Reimer to be tested for neuropathy. When my EMG/NCV test was negative, I asked about being tested for small fiber neuropathy. She told me that no one around here did the test and there was a doctor in Birmingham that did the test, but she never refers anyone out for it because even if you have small fiber neuropathy there’s nothing they can do about it and the only reason to even know about it is to satisfy curiosity. Well I’d like my curiosity satisfied thank you very much. I’ve been searching for answers for years as to my declining health and answers are important to me. I’m already very emotional about this journey anyway, and when she said those things I started crying. She showed no empathy for me and simply shrugged her shoulders and left the room. I won’t return to her practice, nor will I ever recommend anyone else to her.

Excellent Doctor
Dr. Reimer is an excellent, caring doctor. I have been seeing her for a couple of years. She spends an appropriate amount of time with me and works with me to resolve my PD related symptoms. She works with me to adjust my medications and tries new treatments as well. I have also seen her PA, Morgan. Morgan is also wonderful to work with. The wait time in the waiting room and treatment room is minimal. I highly recommend them.

Dismissive and Uncommunicative Doctor
I will try not to let my emotion get the best of me here and do my best to give details on why my review is so terrible in 1000 characters. Dr. Reimer is one of the worst doctors I’ve ever encountered with a rude and dismissive attitude. I have Fibromyalgia, Dysautonomia and that may triggered her annoyance. Long story short, she didn’t explain any of the tests she was doing or why with a lot of attitude somehow making me feel like I was wasting her time. I thought I was going in for an MRI as my main issue are massive brain fog but she fixated on nerve pain which I said wasn’t a major problem. On my 2nd visit, she ran tests on my nerves and I asked if these would identify my brain fog issues and she responded with a definitive “IT WON’T”. Tests showed nothing as expected with no recommendations. It angers me to think about this interaction as I put trust in this person only to be dismissed. I'm saddened to know that we have a terrible doctor like this in Auburn area. Beware!

I had a stroke last year so I needed a neurologist in my area .Dr. Reimer was the first female I found at East Alabama Neurology Center so I made a appointment. My first visit with her was normal, giving medical history...We did chat briefly which was also normal .Although she wasn’t unpleasant she was very curt and to the point. She was not friendly or personable ,and I thought nothing of it. At the next office visit I didn’t see her, I saw her PA who was very friendly. When I saw her on my third office visit she efficiently addressed my concerns. If you’re the type that feels it’s important to have personable friendly physician I’d say she’s not the one for you. If you like a physician that is quick and to the point you might like her. She’ll be my neurologist until I feel she’s simply a bad doctor.

Dr. Reimer is very rude, dismissive. After visiting her abouthaving brain fog post covid she giggled and said it was just my age. That was it. So unprofessional. Don't waste your time with her.
