I work in healthcare thankfully, so I understand the dynamics of tests, procedures, and research into what is personally needed or not. Dr. Gupta is a nice lady, but explains health-related knowledge in vague detail, and in a rushed bedside manner. She also does not effectively take the time to look into tests,labwork completed and go into detail about anything abnormal. Like I said, thankfully I work in Healthcare and am able to interpret my own labs and tests. Everything feels rushed and impersonal. I also did not appreciate the fact that tests are being sent out to third party labs, when they could be covered 100% by my in-network health insurance provider and testing site. Tests that are suggested, and not mandatory, are effectively deemed as mandatory as well in conversation. I would appreciate a little more compassion, a slightly more-detailed education pertinent to my past tests,labwork,procedures, better bedside manner, and more transparency on what is truly needed.

Staff was extremely friendly. I heard recommendations of their practice but she was my second option as far as coverage goes. My preferred doctor was unavailable for a sooner appointment. Dr. Gupta didn’t spend time with me, getting to know me, or seem to care too much about my previous experiences and concerns. Very dismissive and condescending attitude. Will return to practice, won’t return to her.

Kind & Caring
Very surprised to see so many negative reviews about Dr. Gupta. She has treated me through several surgical procedures & has always offered guidance, caring, empathy & kindness. I never felt rushed and always felt listened to. She also helped me through a very negative experience with another medical professional when I came to her in tears. She contacted the other doctor on my behalf, treated me & made me feel safe, heard and relieved. I couldn’t be more grateful for her professionalism and compassion

Very arrogant. She doesn’t listen well to concerns, she is too busy talking and saying what she wants to. She’s very my way or no way. She kept making me feel like I was a terrible mother to be because I’m not vaccinated. This was my first appointment with her and hopefully my last

I had her for the 1st time and it will probably be my last. She only addressed 1 of the 3 concerns I had and only spoke to me briefly as if she was in a rush. Even when addressing that 1 concern, she explained it so quickly, I was overwhelmed and had no time to ask questions. She never gave me my results back from my panel, ONLY when I reached out first. I only got half of my results back after 2 weeks, and I am still waiting almost 2 months after that appointment to have documentation even though she said there was no problem.

I go to SOGA, and I love all the doctors there. Ever since they merged with Axia Health I was nervous since I was pregnant and wasnt sure who would deliver for me. Unfortunately it was Dr. Gupta, and I was extremely disappointed. First, she started her shift and before talking to me about what was going to happen, she told me we were going through with a C-section. Second, we had paid for cord blood bank and she completely disregarded this and we were unable to save Cord blood for our son. Third, my husband wished to cut the umbilical cord, and she didn't even keep him in the loop or ask him. Finally the worst, was she talked about her 3000 guest wedding the entire time she cut into me. I hope nobody ever has to go through what I did with her.

Dr. Gupta is the best! Her diligence saved my life, and she called often during my recovery, even though she wasn’t the one to perform the surgery. She cares tremendously about her patients.

Great office staff, easy to schedule appointments and a very knowledgeable doctor. Dr. Gupta is one of the most knowledgeable doctors I have come across. She actually provides a better perspective than the super-specialist at times. She is very courteous as well. I am not sure why some people here mention here as stand-offish. Probably - because she provides the right care and does not do tests / prescribe stuff just because you may want it! Highly recommended.

I agree with previous reviewer's remark that she's a bit "standoffish" and even obnoxious at times. I've never had an issue with any of the doctors in that office and think the rest of them are absolutely wonderful; however, I only recently started to have some prenatal appointments with Dr. Gupta, and I find that she causes me more upset and stress than I should be experiencing. She gets annoyed if you ask any questions, and she'd rather rush you out of the office. Would not recommend.

She really wasn't that good. I completely understand why so many of her reviews have been negative. She was kind of pushy and standoffish. It seemed as though she'd rather not deal with you as a patient. Bedside manner was not very good at all. She definitely made me feel uncomfortable. I'll make sure I never have her as a doctor again.

Dr. Gupta does not listen to her patients. She is very brisk and makes you feel like you are just a number. My last appointment I left crying because of the way she treated me. I will never go back to her again nor will I recommend her to others. Beware!
